(Day 9, LE) Fly Me to the Moon (Expecting)

Yuki went a little wide eyed at that and looked around, trying to make certain they weren't near anyone while blushing terribly now. "Butaj!" She called to him, laughing a little, squeezing his hand in embarrassment. "But, I don't think it was just those things. I'm not really sure though, I've never done something like that before." Poor Yuki was burning up in embarrassment now.

[Moto Butaj]

He looks at her intently, or rather into her widened eyes, straight through the blush. A small smile creeps in and back as he revels in her, her moonlit silhouette and complexion. He then embraces her swiftly and firmly, but without a squeeze. "Bah sultans, caliphs, kings and rajas, I am holding the greatest treasure under this sky." With glittering eyes, he leans in to kiss her.

Yuki's pupil's expanded and she licked her lips in preparation for the kiss she new was coming. She wanted to so badly, and it was fairly clearly written on her face. But suddenly the alarm klaxons sounded and she quietly put a very reluctant hand on his chest. Her breathing was already heavy as she controlled her urges. "Ah, Butaj-san. We're in public. It's... not proper." Yuki quietly thought very mean things about proper Rokugani etiquette.

She leaned her head against his chest, ever so briefly. "I came here without a future, and I think I found the happiest that could ever be, with you."

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj has no nice things to say about Rokugani customs if they prevent kissing the girl at a moment like this. For furfort's sake! Still, he cherishes and respects his beautiful Asako and so makes no further move, especially that a tender moment that follows sweeps him up. "I came here for you. From the other corner of the world, I came for you. Across the empty plain, the endless steppe, the sea of sand, and the eternal night. I want my future to be you. You are who I want to see in my future. I love you, Yuki." Instead of kissing with his lips, he decides to kiss her soul with his song, and so, while holding her, he begins singing the love song of his people.

Yuki blushed, smiled, and tilted her head down, looking up at Butaj through her lashes as he sang to her. She stayed close to him, far closer than was perhaps seen as appropriate, but she would not let this be taken from her. She resists the urge to simply fold up into the larger Moto and simply let her hold her as he sings.

"Butaj-san has the most beautiful of voices." She smiled a little. "Even better than Doji-san's, though I may be biased. I will be happy when I will get to hear it whenever I want."

[Moto Butaj]

He does not take those last few inches away, leaving the distance in her full control. Her gaze through lashes was banishing all chill of the evening from his body. "Butaj would like to learn your favourite songs so he could learn them and sing them to you." He looks up. "While we will be sitting together under the stars." And chuckles. "And you'll be telling me about all those things Butaj doesn't know but should know... The stars are the same though, in the East and in the West."

Yuki took the opportunity to look up into the stars as well. "The moon is still too bright." She said with a small frown. She looked back to Butaj. "It's sort of nice, knowing that even before we knew each other, we could share the stars." She entwined her hands around both of Butaj's.

[Moto Butaj]

He inhales deeply, taking some of her scent with the evening air and smiling at that. "Though probably by different names, telling different stories. Butaj... I would like to know those names, those stories. Is the sky you know telling you a story you'd like to share with me? Or..." He looks down where she holds him with a broad smile. "Would you like to dance with me among those stars?"

Yuki managed to keep a small whine at wanting a bit more from breaking out, she managed a smile, though her body told her to do much more. "Hai, forever." She squeezed his hands to keep from doing anything else. "In a few days time, we can ride out together and watch the stars and dance as much as we please." Her eyes sparkled with starlight as she looked up into Butaj's eyes.

[Moto Butaj]

"And we will do exactly that, my love. Once we know I am yours and you are mine we will ride out and dance, and kiss, and more. I know it's just few days but I can't wait for this new life to begin. It fills my heart with everything I always wanted to be there. Love, pride, happiness." His eyes are glittering with joy. "Butaj... I..."

"Never have I reached so far toward the stars
Nor have I heard music of thousand setars
Ascending straight to them by a pathway bright
Like when your lips drink love from my reservoirs."

And with that, he leaned in with an intention to steal a small kiss, propriety be damned.

Yuki couldn't help but to let Butaj kiss him with a smile. "You are a dangerous man, Butaj-san. You make it very hard for me to maintain the distance I should."

She sighed a little. "But it makes me happy."

[Moto Butaj]

"Butaj thinks that sometimes the improper thing is the right thing." He grins, pulling away after the kiss and tugging her gently by the held hand to walk with him. "Butaj is not dangerous to Yuki. Maybe just a little unmanageable. But Butaj... I.... love you so much that we will try and try until we find it." His grin widens. "Besides, Butaj knows Yuki has a wild side too, and he can't wait to let it flare."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki can't help but smile as she willingly follows after Butaj. His whisper to Yuki draws out a blush and a nibble on her lower lip. "You are making it very hard for me to not let it flare." While the words are accusatory, her tone is anything but. "I love you, Butaj, so badly I don't think I care who knows, even though everything says I should." She sighs a little. "I just can't wait for this miai to be over with."

[Moto Butaj]

"Then it must succeed, my love. I know my mind should know things may turn not in our favor. But my heart rejects it. I have done much to ensure those choosing before you won't choose me. And tomorrow I'll continue to do so. I will talk and pray, and more." He walks with her, squeezing her palm as he gets bewitched by her beauty in the moonlight. "I love you, Yuki. And I want everybody to know." He looked up to the skies and pointed to the moon. "I want you to know. And you. And you." Butaj starts pointing to the stars. "Neither of you will have the right to be surprised! Butaj loves Yuki, hear?"

"I will do all that I can to gain more points as well." She replied with a smile. Butaj's declaration got Yuki stammering a bit and looking around the yurts before finally giggling and joining Butaj at pointing out the stars, naming those that she knows, she joins him.
