If the Champion swears fealty to Hantei XVI, Nintoku's mother and eldest sister will probably follow suit. Both of them are members of the Lion's Pride and both of them have an important position among the Matsu. The only way they'd not follow is if Matsu Shikyo doesn't follow her champion in swearing fealty to the Hantei XVI.

Nintoku on the other hand could never follow that man. Not even mentioning the fact that the guy, at the current date, is the only tyrannicide but also because Nintoku's morality would never allow such.

It will create really interesting RP between the various Lions and I for one look forward to it.

Well conversely I have played all most nothing but Lions. This poll should really be inspiring feelings in me, outside of bemusement at the whole thing...I honestly don't care either way.

I mean in theory it could end the ability to play a Lion at all, which is probably a dubious conclusion...MS is usually pretty good at making bad things bad but fair and I honestly don't think one poll would be the death of a great clan.

I fully expected him to end up in Toshigoku. There was even an amused comment back at SH(not by me however) that clearly his plan was to go to Toshigoku and come back out again at the hole in Kyuden Asako. XD
