As for babies, Zenshin gave one to the Hare Clan before dying. My creepy Asahina left an equally creepy daughter to the Crane before he also died. And Asako Tamaki has had two so far. Maybe three depending on when the next game takes place.

As the one known as GhostWolfe, I'm calling dibs on any Wolf Clan.

Ah. For some reason I thought they were still allowed normal food rations, since you know, the Emperor was there, the Lion just kinda camped outside and didn't let trade or people to leave/enter..

When did the siege end? Because Kyuden Agasha we had normal food supplies...I need to reread some of the Almanac again.

We did. The average Dragon samurai and definitely non-samurai were starving since the Dragon poured all of their resources into the Winter Court.

Looking back through that and talking on Discord with a few folks, it brought up the Heirs.

Even if the Empress took over, it wouldn't really be for long I bet because there is still a ton more that would probably swoop in and either get her removed, or marry her.

Well off that list, I think Aika's dead now, and Doji Kyoko is likely too tainted by association with her grandfather to get any support.

Yeah. I suspect she'll be pregnant. Otherwise, I don't see how it would be allowed. That said, there's still going to be rumblings from the heirs or those who would want to see a certain heir on the Throne. Never mind that the Lion are to blame for the Emperor's death, by failure if not by action. And I suspect that Hantei XVI will try to convince the Clans that they did it rather than just failed to protect him. The more I think about it, it's one of the more devastating choices.

Well, the blackmail is over, but it won't be hard to pin the death of the Emperor on the Lion. I'm not sure if he would take over since we avoided that fate. I figure the Spirit War will be sorta resolved. But he'll definitely increase his power. Possibly marry the Empress and make himself regent?
