The Emperor would probably declare a platypus a ridiculous hoax. I mean really giant spiders, ki-rin, wyrms, etc are all fine but a little MAMMAL that LAYS EGGS?! And has VENOM like a snake?! And it somehow uses its magic bill to sense animals in the water with ELECTRICITY?!
