Should the Unicorn accept the Onyx Champion's deal?

Yes. The Unicorn will send a large portion of their forces back out into the desert to rescue Shinjo, eventually returning with her to the Empire just as things reach their darkest. In return, the Onyx Champion will amass a sizable army of undead Unicorn.

Yes. The Unicorn will make preparations for freeing Shinjo, which will include working with the other Clans to rediscover the ability to cast elemental magic. Though they will not be able to free Shinjo due to other matters taking precedence, the preparations will be of significant importance in the coming future. The Onyx Champion will amass a sizeable army of undead Unicorn.

Yes. The Kolat will subvert the gained information, however, and they will keep Shinjo's location a secret in order to ensure that she does not interfere with their plans. The Kolat will gain increased influence within the Unicorn, while the Onyx Champion will amass a sizable army of undead Unicorn.

No. The Unicorn will lure the Onyx Champion into an ambush and kill him. The Unicorn will claim his weapon, the Hammer of Ruin, for their own and will give the weapon to their Champion as a trophy. Its corruptive influence will eventually overwhelm her, transforming her into one of the Lost.

No. The Unicorn will lure the Onyx Champion into an ambush, but it will fail to kill him. Upon his return to the Shadowlands, Kiyoshi will return Tareef no Oni to the world and infuse her with dark power, creating a new Oni Lord... one that is obsessed with the ruin of the Unicorn Clan.

No. The Unicorn will refuse to have anything to do with the Onyx Champion. Shinjo will be corrupted by the Lying Darkness and will, in time, supplant Goju Adorai as the avatar of nothingness.

Unicorn Poll: The Onyx Champion

The Onyx Champion has approached the Unicorn Clan with an offer: If they agree to give him the bodies (not souls) of their dead for the next ten years, he will tell them where they can find Shinjo, who is currently trapped and imprisoned by the Lying Darkness.

Should the Unicorn accept his offer?


For the purposes of this vote, all of the "Yes" and "No" votes will be tallied to determine whether or not the Unicorn accept. The most popular option of the winning decision will be the one the Unicorn choose.

To be fair, there is exactly one option that doesn't involve being suborned by the Shadowlands in some way... and that one feeds a Kami to the Nothing. If Taira has got himself into a position where Fate determines he's gonna be disappointed regardless of what happens... well, fate's like that. :lol:
