Cat Clan Convention (D1, LM) [Kogo's Yurt, Lion Only]

"Her name is Kitta-qu-hime, she had a second Shi-toe-mei with her Chee-poo, Both are quite pretty but chee-poo is not happy about being at the miai, and for the record, Gekkoum Kittaquehime's horse is the one who pointed her out to mevthank you very much."

Kogo smirks at Shimizu. "Uh huh. Blame the horse. I'm sure that's all it was."

[Shimizu Ryori]

Kogo snickers to herself. "The horse said you were being rude? Now I've heard everything."

"That it was very honored to meet me and that it found me both dashing and well mannered which just goes to show it was not only an intelligent horse but cultured and a good judge of character" he smiles and Kyra whines "noone asked you"

Kogo snickers again. "Shimizu-san, I am never bored when you are here. You will have to introduce me to this intelligent horse and its lovely rider."

Another Lion arrives at just the right time to see the beastmasters in animated discussion, the little Matsu looking slightly appalled at the seriousness of their horse talk, and a pair of lions taking their ease in the middle of camp. Surprised but undaunted, the athletic Kitsu strides up to the group.

"Greetings, cousins! I am Kitsu Takashi, student of the Ikoma school and junior scribe to the court at Shiranai Toshi." Takashi bows a little, but not so much that it would seem ill-sited to an informal setting. He looks toward the trained lions, then to the beastmasters. "Ah, skilled cousins. I have never made the acquaintance of one of our clans glorious warcats. Is there... Anything I should do?"

"Kitsu-sama! We were just saying how much we wished one of our Ikoma cousins was here." Kogo bows. "I am glad to welcome you." She notices his pause. "The warcats are well trained, but if you like, I will introduce you to Noburu and Kyra. Kyra and I are old friends and Noburu is more of a mischief maker than anything. They will not bother you, minus Noburu's occasional wining for meat."

[Shimizu Ryori]

He smiles softly "Thank you for joining us Kitsu san we were afraid the clan was going to leave us lost and alone out here with noone to defend us in court"

"Hey, I learned...some stuff." Thinks it over a moment. "We're very grateful for your presence."

Takashi smiles. "I know a bit of court 'stuff,' so I'm sure we'll do fine." He thinks for a moment. "But no Ikoma? Surely somewhere in this sea of tents there are more of our kin. A humble scribe like me can't possibly carry the honor of two great families all alone." He looks thoughtfully at the lions. "Perhaps Kyra-san or Noburu-san could briefly join the Ikoma to assist me?" he says with a smile. Takashi kneels near one of the big cats: not so close that it might feel threatened but close enough to show respectful interest.

[Shimizu Ryori]

Takashi smiles. "I know a bit of court 'stuff,' so I'm sure we'll do fine." He thinks for a moment. "But no Ikoma? Surely somewhere in this sea of tents there are more of our kin. A humble scribe like me can't possibly carry the honor of two great families all alone." He looks thoughtfully at the lions. "Perhaps Kyra-san or Noburu-san could briefly join the Ikoma to assist me?" he says with a smile. Takashi kneels near one of the big cats: not so close that it might feel threatened but close enough to show respectful interest.

"Technically you would represent the Kitsu, Matsu and Shimizu, I have seen no Akodo so far. " he chuckles and waves and Kyra steps forward to sniff and then attempt to face bop the Ikoma.

[Kitsu Takashi]

"Ah, I'm sorry, Shimizu-san. An inelegantly delivered jest. I meant that I could theoretically represent the Ikoma, as half my blood is of that family, through my father." The Kitsu's easy smile continues, and he chuckles softly after being bopped by the lion. "No Akodo either? My, we are an interesting sample of our clan. Hopefully interesting enough for the Unicorn to take serious notice of..." Takashi tails off, noting how the other Lion react to his remark.

He ahhs "Well my mother was Ikoma, and my father Matsu, though my training was Matsu, I guess between us we can give them a taste of the Ikoma"
