Hiroji nodded to the Badger and chuckled. "Better than when we last saw. You?"

"I am well." He replied fighting down the urge to grimace at the memory of that night. "Much better then the last time we met." He finished his cup, and moved his hand giving ample room for someone to refill his cup if they wished.

Turning back to Ameka he nodded. "I will do just that Doji-san, and my night has been well." Better then it has been for some at least. "I hope you can say the same?"

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji sighs and scratches the back of his head. "The miai has been... Mixed. Lots of bad. Lots of good." He refills his cup and takes a deep sip.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo takes a quiet breath as she steps away from Ide-dono, relieved. She moved back towards the sake table, determined to get at least one cup of this famous sake before it is all gone. She had earned it at this point. She saw Akil over with Fukawa off to the side, two little mirrors of beauty. One drink, Kogo. Just one.

Walking over to Doji Ameka, Kaiu-san and Ichiro-san, she says, "Doji-san, would you have a recommendation for which sake to try first?"

Hiroji greeted the lion with a tired smile and a nod. "Good evening Kogo-San."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki comes to the party with a couple of bottles of kumis in tow. What's going on here?

[Doji Ameka]

"Mixed is an excellent description of my evening, as well as the miai," she assesses. "I carved a bean very well. But the rest of the day has been trouble, rejection, and general awkwardness. So, as I said... it will certainly improve, and that is a reason to be glad." She smiled, finished her sake, and poured another.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

Daisuke would offer refills to any who wished, they all seemed to be drinking with quite some speed after all. "Good evening Matsu-sama." He greeted the Lioness as she approached. "Thank you for putting this all together for us."

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo bows to the three samurai, and accepts a cup from Ichiro-san. "I am unsure if we have met Ichiro-san. This one is Matsu Kogo. And I am glad that you are here to enjoy it. It has been...more lively than I thought it would be. "

Again with the beans... Hiroji thought as he motes with a bemused expression the amount of sake the small crane was imbiding. "Well then. To a happy and eventful evening!" He raises his cup in a toast.

Kogo will drink to that, though she will not knock back to the cup. She raises her hand to echo the toast.

[Miya Mei]

Seeing a toast, Mei walks over to the Crab and the Lion and raises her cup as well, looking to Kogo for an audience when she has a free moment.

"To a happy and eventful evening!"

[Doji Ameka]

"Matsu-san," Ameka greets Kogo cheerfully. "I'm glad to see you join us." She raises a hand to echo the toast and, as is tradition, knocks it back once everyone has toasted.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji accepts Daisuke's refill with a nod. " So how has your evening been Kogo-San?"

[Ichiro Daisuke]

Kogo bows to the three samurai, and accepts a cup from Ichiro-san. "I am unsure if we have met Ichiro-san. This one is Matsu Kogo. And I am glad that you are here to enjoy it. It has been...more lively than I thought it would be. "

"It's summer sea." He named the sake he had poured for the Matsu, some at least were interested in such things after all. "And I believe you are right, we haven't met. At the toast Daisuke raises his cup and joins in, though he only takes a small sip. No reason to down good sake too quickly.

Hiroji accepts Daisuke's refill with a nod. " So how has your evening been Kogo-San?"

Kogo sips from her cup at the toast, savoring the taste. She has learned her lessons from drinking with the Crab. "It has been enjoyable so far. I have high hopes." She smiles at Doji-san. "I am glad you are enjoying yourself Doji-san." She sees the Miya and is genuinely puzzled as to what this could entail. They have not spoken a word the entire miai. "Miya-sama. I hope you are enjoying yourself."

She enjoys the cup, savoring. "Ahh thank you Ichiro-san. After Doji-san spoke its lovely qualities, I knew I wished to try some."
