Some games I don't change. Others I change once. This game is one of the latter.

Whatever avatar I start using first tends to grow on me too much to change midstream...

I am the opposite.

After a few weeks, I get *really* sick of seeing the same picture again and again and again (because I see my own avatar way more than I see anyone else's). Some characters I've changed pretty often with, but then I've usually had pictures of the same source-material... like in the last Ferret-verse game, I changed the avatar for my Mantis Kobune Captain several times during the game, using the same character from Ice Fantasy repeatedly.
