[Day 6 Late Evening, Khulun Yurt] Scandalous

[Moto Khulun]

“Because I am Khulun,” she says honestly.

“I am Moto, I am warrior, and I am woman… yet I am other things some are known to me and some are not. What you see is Khulun, but what you see and what I know are not same, yes? Same with Nintoku, you are what I see… but you are also who you are and not always same.”

He was getting angrier at his inability to express proper emotions "What do you think of me? Am I just another conquest?"

“If we are husband and wife, then we are one. It is that simple.”

He blushed furiously at the mention of sex; unlike many of the other samurai present he was not an experienced lover.

He was genuinely confused "I mean you are the one that is intriguing and mysterious. You are the one that has me in the edge unsure as to what you will do," his frown deepened. "You are like the wind, strong and free, and you smell like a peaceful meadow."

"For the Kami sakes you have a sword with a name and a trinket from a Kami."

"What can intrigue you from me?"

"That's for me to know and for you to puzzle till the end of your days," she laughs warmly.

He slumps into the pile of furs "Why must this be so complicated?"

He took a hearty chug once more and sighed "That is why I enjoy the battlefield. Because despite everything it is always very simple."

“Killing is simple, war and battle is not,” she says.

“Same as people, things are rarely clean, always something unclear.”

"Nothing more simple than war and battle," he retorted. "In the end you always have a clear goal. How you reach it might vary but the endgame does not."

“If you say so, mighty Lion,” she says sharpening the blade.

“I do not seek to confuse you, if that helps.”

"I think you see war as simple, it is not so, but maybe it is simple if you not care about what happens later," she says.
