Yes... it does feel a little more generic... but... the art is very nice, and the reboot sounds interesting.

I will miss the flavor of non-unique personalities if that's the way they're going...

People like Daidoji Uji, Matsu Gohei, or Toku became so popular because their first non-unique peeps were useful and got lots of popularity as the story moved along.

I like the look of the cards, and art looks gorgeous.

But yeah... not so keen on Savvy Politician as a Personality-card. Where's my boxable personalities that will be bounced up in story eventually?! :lol:

I wondered glancing at that whether they just didn't want to spoil the names of personalities yet. It was so determinedly generic, like when you make a handout using the names "Joe and Jane Doe," that it kinda gave me that sense.

I did notice that, I am not sure I will miss the personalities all that much, but I can see how that could be a sticking point for others.

I will probably preorder it.

Tbh, it will be much easier to keep cards straight if decks are full of Aspiring Duelist and Accomplished Artist rather than eight people whose names all begin with Kakita......
