I'm excited for the story they are setting up. If it so happens the LCG is my only way to interact with the story, then so be it :D

I was hoping they would find a way to avoid rebooting the story. But, I understand why they did it and I appreciate the little alterations they've made. Familiar yet brand new. I am excited.

I've pretty much disliked the main storyline since the plug was unceremoniously pulled on the Toturi line. This is good for me. Goes back to a time and setting that's really interesting, and throws all sorts of new folds in there that look interesting.

That makes sense as the original setting seem steeped in some historical sexism and the current looks interesting. I wonder if they will do Shadowlands at all? Or if that will be an expansion.

Yeah, they're saying it will be a new story not a straight up reboot/retelling and I think I'm ok with that.

Well it's a reboot, from what I see, but I am hopeful for a new story that focuses more on internal conflicts and not external conflict after external conflict.

I'm sure we ultimately will see a second day of thunder. I wouldn't mind if that took a while.
