This took me a couple games to really grasp but now I just focus on my own stories and fun more so than getting all the points to win the thing because I either am not super crunchy in eking out every advantage or the dice will screw me.

This is, I think, the first of these kind of games in which I've taken any disadvantages whose triggers and consequences (mechanical and otherwise) aren't under my control/predictable to me as a player. So we'll see how that goes. O_o;

I've tried to curtail my disadvantage use after witnessing the GMs get creative. Only so many times can you watch something go horribly awry before you're like, "NEWP! Not today Satan!"
