OOC Chat before gamestart tends to be a ball of energy as everyone is trying to get into the mindset of the game and poking fun at themselves.

I prefer to keep it light-hearted and fun, with only the occassional discussion on L5R-fluff. ^_^

I like Mysterium...for the art and visual design. The game...Is there another game we can play with all of these pretty cards and characters?

This is roughly how I felt when I played Mysterium. Everyone else at the table was super into it, too. Glad to know I'm not crazy!

I don't have too much else to add to the board/card game discussion. I still like Dominion! And I'm always looking for chances to play Legends of the Three Kingdoms but you need a pretty big group for maximal crazy backstabbyness. (It's basically reskinned Bang!, but I find it more entertaining than the original for some reason.)
