If you have Crab hands do you count as Archery 1 or 0?

It's based on skills on your character sheet.
So Kyujutsu 0.

Can we be on horseback for the purposes of utilizing a daikyu, (as its the bow I have & we're Unicorn?)

Sure.

This one is strictly a non-mounted contest.
You can still use a Daikyu of foot, you just suffer the TN penalty as per its rules.

Yup, the Shinjo will provide whatever bows and arrows are required.

If we are not opting for a different tier, do we need to liist the target color in the roll description? I forgot, but I did list the TNs.

I don't expect it will be yes...
But as having ranks of kyujutsu makes this roll exponentially harder with no visible benefit...

The TN should be fine if you forget the color.
