She waves for him to move accompany her and starts walking when he's ready. "What do you expect to find the other side?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "I'm not quite sure. Perhaps more of the same, perhaps not. That's the exciting part though. The unexpected future is always more interesting than what everyone knows is going to happen."

He walked along side the princess with his belongings on his shoulder. He looked over to her to check her response, "You mentioned wanting to get some exercise in... Would you care for a foot race over there?"

Before he could finish his phrase, she was already giggling and ready to sprint.

[Soshi Yuuru]

"H-hey!" He smiled as he darted after the Otaku. His legs carried him behind her for a while before he decided to pick up the pace a bit more. He turned his head and smiled at the woman as he came up alongside her and winked once as he sprinted for the last hundred meters to the high point on the ridge.

He breathed deeply, gathering his air back into his lungs as she arrived a few seconds behind him. His face was covered in a confident smile.

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

Panting, she puts a hand over her chest and lower herself. Her other hand points to something behind Yuuru.

"Gekko... Wins." She exhales in-between breathes.

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru turned around to look at the horse and laughed, "Looks like I still have room to improve then. Though I think I could probably take him on my home turf of the Shinomen."

He smiled and turned back to the Otaku, "I was more impressed by you than your steed though. You made me work for that."

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

"It was unfair of me." She finally catches some extra air to lift up and grin. "Geeko does al the running. I must train these legs more."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled once through his nostril, "By that same token I'd probably need to train more on a horse if I were to ever be accepted into your clan."

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

"True." She nods. "You must find a horse, first."

[Soshi Yuuru]

"How did you find yours?" He asked with interest as he sat down and patted a space next to him, inviting her to sit if she wanted.

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

"Gekko did." The girl says, looking at her horse.

Looking back at the recommended spot, Kitakuhime tilts her head a bit. Takes a half step and and looks to the Soshi, blinking.

Its... so... inviting.... No! I'm not obeying a man.

She crosses her arms.

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru looks up quizzically for a moment then said, "I'm sorry if my gesture seemed forward. I'd love if you would join me here for a bit of conversation; you needn't sit if you don't wish to though."

He smiled handsomely and pulled out some more parchment and charcoal.

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

"Get a horse." She closes her eyes, "Then -you- join me for a bit of conversation."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He looked puzzled at that response, " 'Get a horse'? Now? Here?"

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

"I'm sorry if my gesture seemed forward." She replies back and walks toward Gekko, mounting up. Adjusting the saddle, she watches the boy in silence.
