As their bodies clench in tight embrace, Butaj grins wide as he fixes his lock, one hand slipping behind the obi at Yuuru's back, the other over his shoulder. "And where you come from men are ashamed of their strength?" Butaj feigns kneeling, then pushes forth, turns and shoves Yuuru by a double grip off the ring like a sack of barley! He then straightens and dusts off hands. "Clothes might not be helping, my friend."

The Matsu observed the competitors attentively. The Moto was superior to the Soshi in simple physical terms though the Soshi clearly had the best technique.

The Matsu wondered how would he fare against either of them. Probably win.

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru stands up and removes his outer kimono carefully before going back into the ring. His torso was riddled with scars. Most noticeable were four large gashes across his chest and two large circular ones in his shoulder. "I suppose we should be on even standing to show a proper display."

Tomoe fanned herself... this match was certainly getting steamy.

Amaya's eyes, barely visible over the edge of her fan, are as massive as tea cups as the Scorpion also disrobes, and her ears turn an even brighter shade. The polite thing to do would be to look away, but she doesn't.

[Moto Butaj]

"Even standing with Butaj? Yuo have aspirations, my friend!" Seeing the Scorpion on defense, Butaj lunges on his bluster, initiating a flawlessly intricate grip!

Yuuru attempted again to gain control of the Moto, his skill may not be match for the Moto's intense exertion.

[Matsu Nintoku]

The Matsu nods in approval when the Soshi disrobes; now he has less places where the Moto can latch onto. Clearly this Soshi knows how to fight.

[Matsu Yurio]

Another samurai arrived, called by the rumours of some good wrasslin' going down. The sight before him was not objectionable.

[Moto Butaj]

"Butaj!" Butaj exclaims, the shout giving him strength to overpower the Soshi and collapse him to the ground. That has been much closer!

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru stood up again and said nothing. He was feeling he was starting to get a grasp on what this style of wrestling meant, but it was obvious that the effort he put into the event held by the Ide was wearing on him more than he thought.

"Again."

Yurio edged closer, expression stern, watching the forms and techniques of this near-jiujutsu.

[Matsu Nintoku]

The Soshi seemed a bit more winded than the Moto, allowing the Moto's superior physique to edge over the Scorpion.

[Iuchi Saksaha]

Some might imagine a priestess would have little interest in wrestling, but those would be people who don't know the Unicorn Clan very well. Saksaha slips into the dojo in time to watch the first bout, wondering if the crowd will be as noisy as a Unicorn one or if other ways prevail in Rokugan.
