I have developed a big love for fennec foxes since Qasr Court. The reason I picked a fennec fox pet for Subetai was because I read that in some countries, they were considered to ward off evil spirits, and felt that fit in nicely with his fluff.

I've low-key <3'd them ever since my Night Caste character in my first Exalted game had one for a familiar... cripes, that was well over ten years ago now.
