I am finding the loss of half my income to be a bit painful to swallow at times. I seem to have much more expensive tastes than my budget

I have seized any open threads to meet people but alas I wish I had submitted my character before so I could be sanctioned by game start ;_;

Butaj's thread partners in the big threads are MIA, one thread is exited, so only three are going. Butaj expects more of D2.

Once you get past the first day, you'll have threads from that day plus ones from the day before that haven't wrapped yet, so there's more likelihood that at any given time someone's been on and written something for you to respond to. (I tend to forget this and want ALL THE THREADS on D1, and then I only have the mental space for, like, two or three on D2. And I've done it again... )

Also, I personally love it when people I'm in a giant fast-moving thread with PM me when they've posted--it means I don't have to comb through all the replies and worry about missing them. I try to do the same on my side. Then I only get all excited when I see the PM notice, not every time someone posts in the scrum.

Back in my day and when I started, games were three days for one day and four days for the other. That was probably pretty slow then there was a period where we went back to 2/2/3. I kind of remember that the first day would spent catching up with posts on the previous day and posting for events on that day, then the second day would be when I actually started my day. 3 day weekends felt like awesome. 3/3/etc is saner.

I heard some players got their start on 1:1 in WC2. My respect.

Ahahhaha. WC2 was my first pbp. I was able to handle the pace until we got to the dinner that was held in real time


Getting kicked around by a WC2 gm to the point of nearly quitting the game was worse.

Then I made Black Scroll my second game, and players tried to vote me to death.


But awesome HT GMs got me through that, and while I have had my frustrations, I have treasured the pbp games, HT, Elixyverse, Ferretverse, Banner of Stars, Vulpine Regime, and even the official AEG WCs. (Yes, even you WC2. You were bad to me, but no one forgets their first).

Y'all are awesome, and while some worlds have faded away, I look forward to continuing to pretend to be samurai with you on the internet
