It happens - many timezones of players. Being GMT(BST currently) myself, many of my thread partners are most active as it's getting late for me, and I also dislike posting in three-way conversations before the others get a chance to post

I love little one on one conversations, where you can just talk back and forth with nothing but rl slowing you down. But one should take turns if possible in conversations with multiple partners. Politely Pming people to remind them they are up is good. Massive threads are my third least favorite. I find you just have to treat them as one on ones. Grab somebody who wants to talk, and ignore anything else except people who directly approach you, or make a really huge scene to react to. Meeting threads are my second least favorite, because by the time everyone's had time for small talk and you can move on to important stuff, the day has changed. Funerals are my least favorite, because all you can do is emote. I play to talk to you all


I am sorry D1 did not turn out how you would have liked Butaj. If the after-event Dinner thread is the one you are talking about being abadoned by your partners, I'm there and have talked to no-one.

It's okay, but the big threads are really difficult to handle. I keep checking masses of posts that do not relate to my character at all. I made Butaj loud and visible in the feast thread, so if you're fine coming over, I'll be happy. Butaj has made a pig of himself during the feast, and you are the pinnacle of graceful participation, so maybe it's time for a bit of civilising?

Honestly I intended to post in the big threads at first.

But they were a bit busier then I figured... So I ended posting being there and just ignored them unless anyone poked me.

With the hours I have available I honestly don't expect to post that much anyways :p

If anyone wants to meet the badger day two though, feel free to send a poke.

I agree, though for me what seemingly tends to happen is that D1 comes around and something happens in RL where I'm extremely busy the first or second day so that by the time I do have the time to jump in most of the opening event threads have 20+ pages in them and people have timeslots booked up and are already deep in conversation. I tend to start with a light foot D1 because of that and go from there.
