Do you have a hotel/place to stay lined up at least? If not, then absolutely not. If so, maybe, but there probably won't be a lot of events that are still free to get into.

You can usually find a room out by the airport without too much trouble. It's a bit of a hassle to taxi/uber back and forth, but you still end up saving money compared to the price of closer hotels.

There are still lots of events that are open, and even more that people will skip to create an opening. So still worth trying if you want to go, in my opinion.

Oh, my cousin lives in the city, said I could stay at his place. If I go, it would be for nearly 2 full weeks, and I would be there the Friday before to the Tuesday after. Not close, but he's hoping to go, too, so rides aren't a huge problem.

Anyway, a brilliant indie game designer friend is Kickstarter-ing her quirky, already award-winning card game about alien-human romance (or, well, definitely alien-human lust, anyway), and it genuinely seems like a thing that some HT/Fallenash folks might be interested in or at least amused by the concept of, so I thought I'd drop the link in here.
