[Yuzuki]

She gave the other phoenix the same introduction as she'd given the other two.

"Starting with architecture, I think." she looked towards the tents. Yurts? No. Tents. Much better word.

"They're big, but something feels wrong about them."

[Asako Hirase]

"Walls that move in a strong breeze are unusual." Hirase chimed in, in agreement with the Mantis woman in this at least. "Though I know, intellectually, they are more sturdy than our paper walls, it is a bit jarring all the same."

[Asako Yuki]

"Hai, hai." Yuki agreed before finally opening up the flap to her chosen tent. She paused for a long moment. "Are- is... Is that fur?!" She finally blurted out.

[Yuzuki]

"I think it is. I think some of the gaijin cultures use fur. They might not have silk and the like."

[Asako Hirase]

"Yes, I believe so." Hirase seemed far less scandalized than Yuki was, or at least he internalized it better. "You could ask Isawa-san or our other cousin to bless it for you if it bothers you overmuch.'

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki frowned slightly. "I mean, yes. It's just... I didn't think they'd have it for us." Her frown deepened then. "No need, Hirase-san. I'm sure the Unicorn had it blessed before they put them in there." She paused again, looking back at the others. "Right?"

[Yuzuki]

"Maybe?"

She didn't really care.

Tell her no

"No? I don't think they'd know the rites, would they?"

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki paused at that. "But... well... no... I guess not." It was a good thing her frown couldn't deepen any more.

[Asako Hirase]

"We are likely to become Unicorn, Cousin." Hirase's expression was still calm, though his voice was a bit gentler now. "Why would they treat us differently instead of acclimating us right away? It is a gift, of sorts."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki looked to her cousin and pursed her lips for a moment, furrowing her brow in concentration as she steeled herself. "Right!" She finally declared and stomped with determination into her tent.

[Yuzuki]

"Hmm," she said, looked to Hirase as Yuki stormed off.

"Is she going to..."

[Asako Hirase]

"Settle herself amongst the furs right off, at least for a few minutes, just to show she can." He considered it. "Probably. I can't say that the time of travel was enough to fully predict what she'll do."

Focusing on the other woman fully, Hirase raised a brow. "I am a bit surprised to see a Mantis here. I do not think it possible to be any further from the sea. It seems an odd choice for your Clan to make friends this way."

[Yuzuki]

"Well," she started.

Can't say why I'm *really* here ofcourse.

"The Unicorn are of interest to all."

[Asako Hirase]

Politely nodding, Hirase said, "Of course. But I would think that the Mantis might well have gone another path toward learning. It is the benefit of being a Minor Clan, surely, that you are not expected to have the personnel to spare for such a thing on short notice?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"Truly the bravery of the Shiba-trained is great," says Nonin with a slight smile watching Yuki go.
