Bliss [Day 11, late evening, Fukawa's yurt]

His ordeal with Kogo over, Akil took the rest of the early hours of the evening to sit in his yurt and reflect. But that was done now, and he had a fiancee to attend to. So he made his way to her yurt, barely containing his excitement as his 'scratch' at the door nearly forced the flap right open. "Fu-ch...Fukawa-san!"

There were a lot of things packed up in the yurt. Fukawa's wardrobe, her writing supplies, and more. She wasn't quite sure what was going to make it all back, but everything was ready to go.

Akil's arrival did make her smile though. It certainly helped banish the dark thoughts about him getting intimate with Kogo one last time.

"Ah, A-kun, come on it." she offered with a smile, and a bow.

She was certainly more relaxed now that the official miai was over.

Not that he'd ever been that intimate with Kogo in the first place. He slipped in quickly, not so worried now about leaving the flap open. The bow was even forsaken today, as instead he near ran to her, barely stopping himself from tackling her when his arms wrapped around her, tightly squeezing the Courtier.

Fukawa struggled for a moment, completely unfamiliar with the Unicorn Tackle-Glomp. It wasn't a struggle to escape, however, just trying to adjust her arms around to where she was actually holding on to him as well.

Once her arms were around, she was nearly overcome with the heat of the moment. The warmth that radiated from Akil was unlike she had ever experienced, even in the hottest months of summer. But it was a good heat. It was a warmth that spread through her body, and made her feel safe. Wanted, desired.....it was incredible.

She took a few heartbeats just savoring the moment before speaking.

"So, you seem to be in a good mood A-kun." she offered, with a small giggle, her first laugh of the miai.

He pulled himself in closer, sighing lightly. "You have. No idea how long I have been waiting to hold you."

[Doji Fukawa]

She brushed her fingers through his hair, something she had wanted to touch for quite a while.

"Tell me, A-kun. How long?" she asks, curious what he would say.

[Shinjo Akil]

"The first day we went riding, when you gave me your fan," he smiled, "though after I gave you mine, I wanted to throw you on Setem and take you away from here." Not... The most poetic he ever had been

"Oh really?" she says, her voice musical, as she lies her head upon his shoulder. "And where would the three of us gone?"

"I hadn't thought that far through," he admitted, squeezing her tighter. "Just. Somewhere. Maybe to one of the gardens I've heard so much a out from you."

He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. "May I kiss you, Fu-chan?"

Fukawa blushes and smiles.

"It'll be my first." she cautions. "Be gentle."

He nodded calmly. His hand left her back to touch her face lightly. Heart racing, eyes staring into hers. Slowly, he brought himself closer to her, until his lips brushed against hers lightly. He pressed just a bit, eyes closing as he savored the feeling of her lips on his.

Fukawa closed her eyes, and blushed heavily at the touch of her betrothed, but it was still a good kiss.

She savors it, opening her eyes about when Akil does.

"I think....that we will have a very pleasant trip home A-kun. A shame I don't have a horse. We'll have to go the slow way I'm afraid." she said, looking forward to many nights at travel stops.

Akil pulls his lips away, but keeps his hand touching her face, thumb running up and down her cheek as he nodded. "I think so, too. A shame that you do not yet have a horse, but I believe we can manage until that has been rectified."

The thumb thing was a little weird, but easily solvable as she enfolded it and the rest of his hand in her own, squeezing just a bit.

"It's a pretty easy journey." she admits. "Lots of inns along the way, and traveler way stations where there are not. We'll have good weather as well."

"Oh good," he smiled, "though if we absolutely need to camp, I will have my yurt at least."
