"Shiba-san," Ameka finally speaks up quietly. "I don't know your circumstances outside of this situation. Will the lack of betrothal here have serious consequences for you and your family? Outside of what the Unicorn may have to say about it."

"I do not know. Every action has consequences, however the circumstances with Kakita Jinosoku-san are known. It will not erase my failure, but my future will likely see me as a yojimbo far from Court or any opportunities to redeem myself. That is better than being cast out." Kaizen answered the Crane.
