For the most part, Fukawa ignored most of what was going on. People were drunk, they couldn't be held responsible for their actions, unless they were really really egregious, and nothing had broken that limit yet.

Seeing Akil make his offer to Matsu Killo, she can't help but approach, bowing to each.

"Matsu-san, Akil-san, I was wondering if I might accompany your music with my voice, if you wouldn't mind a duet." she offers.

There was a momentary flash of concern on Akil's face as Fukawa approached, but his eyes softened and smile widened as she made her offer. "I would of course be honored to complement Fukawa-san's voice with my flute."

There is a not so tiny pang that goes through Kogo seeing him smile at Fukawa in such a way, but she hides it well, her mind focusing back on what she can control. "Very well. I will be glad to announce both these lovely entertainments."

Stepping away from them both, Kogo addresses the party. "Minna-sama! Be welcome to this lovely gathering. I am honored you have all chosen to attend. For your entertainment, several honorable samurai-ko have prepared two very distinct offerings." Indicating towards the fire, she says, "For those who wish to know more of barike (she mispronounces) and see its skill against jiujitsu, I offer this contest between Matsu Nintoku-san and Moto Butaj-san, in honor of Lady Matsu and her mighty glory." Her eyes light and her smile is fiery as she speaks her ancestress's name. Then she indicates the tables and seating area.

"For those wishing to hear more of the shared arts between our peoples, Shinjo Akil-san and Doji Fukawa-san have offered to play and sing a duet for us. Please, feel free to enjoy either of these or the candy provided by Doji Ameka and I hope you all enjoy our last night in Dark Edge Village!" She ends with a flourish, almost panting.

It is not the most fantastic announcement in the world, but it is clear that Kogo is excited for both things and slightly overwhelmed.

She retreats after her announcement, to move to get a last cup of sake and find a chair to listen to the music.

She sets the arrangement on a table. The Moshi goes on her marry way tons corner and waits for any soul who would like to speak with her.

Oblivious to the play and anything else that had happened prior to his arrival, Kemuri managed to find Mei.

"I've never really understood love triangles." he said as he stepped to her side from behind.

"OH!"

Mei lets out a startled yelp.

"Kemuri-kun!"

She reaches out and grabs his arm, pulling him closer.

"You missed my play! I thought up the best story and Matsu-san let me perform for everyone! I even got some cheers!"

She looks at Kogo during the announcement.

"They are going to have music! We should dance!"

Meis cheeks are quite red and she is smiling profusely.

[Doji Fukawa]

She looks at Kogo during the announcement.

[Asako Hirase]

Yuki smiled. "Hai, I hope he will. Butaj is very strong, and very capable." She nodded. "One moment." She finished her drink and grabbed a second before moving with Hirase towards the ring to cheer on Butaj.

"Have these two wrestled before?" He remembered talk of the Mantis woman trouncing the big Moto but no much else. "Is there a likely winner expected already or is this a fresh pairing?"

[Shinjo Akil]

Fukawa bows.

"Do you have any preference as to what we perform, Akil-san?" she asks.

"Not strongly," he shook his head, "something fast, I think. This is a party. Start us off and I will follow your lead," he inclines his head, removing his flute from his obi and holding it near his lips as he watched her.

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj takes a swig when he notices Yuki approaching with Hirase. Worries of tomorrow are now gone from his mind, all he wants to do is to get it out of his body too through wrestling. But now that he sees Yuki cheering him, the motivation hanabi'es. On his way to the ring he passes by them, exchanging a special gaze with his beloved, then grinning to his friend while passing the skin to him. "Hirase, hold my kumis."

Then, with ululation, he proceeds into the impromptu ring.

[Matsu Nintoku]

The Matsu slipped into a more appropriate combat garment that is to say he took off the top part of his clothing revealing his naked scarred torso.

"My blood is that of Lady Matsu," he taunted as he prepared himself. "Lets see how you fare Moto-san."

He assumed a combat position, bracing for the Moto's attack.

Hirase accepted custody of the the flask, murmuring, "Kick his ass, Butaj." quietly as he did so.

When his friend got off to the faster start, he grinned.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki smiled. "Hai, I hope he will. Butaj is very strong, and very capable." She nodded. "One moment." She finished her drink and grabbed a second before moving with Hirase towards the ring to cheer on Butaj.

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj is absolutely hairily topless for it too, he had dropped the clothing somewhere on the way.

"Butaj believes you, but tonight he'll leave your blood be and just squeeze your tears out, haha!"

Flamboyantly, perhaps a little too flamboyantly but he pulls it off, he darts toward Nintoku and initiates a lock!

The Moto manages to be faster than the Matsu forcing him to take a more defensive approach to beating the Moto.

Fukawa bows.

Well, that pretty much blows my repeitoire. Fukawa thinks. However, she's drawn to remembering that one play......

"All right, I think I have it. Let's see what they think, Akil-san." she offers. Taking up the space offered to her, Fukawa bursts into song:

It was a very light and energetic song about how great love was. Very easy to dance to, and for Akil's flute to accompany on the parts for music. And as long as no one had seen the play that that song opened for, they were likely to just find it a happy, feel good kind of song.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She was moved by the music, the Doji's song in particular touched the Hare, and Tsukimi -who had finished her sweets by now- decided to dance.

She moved with elegance and amusement, echoing the energy of the song itself. Her body followed a rhythm, she let the music sweep her into its embrace, and she performed beautifully.
