What a fun game! thought Takahiro. Takahiro barked and chased the sheep, and the girl yelled and chased him! He was determined, he would catch the sheep before the girl caught him!

[Usagi Tsukimi]

The lamb zigged. The lamb zagged. The dog barked behind him, and the Hare shouted further back.

[Moto Butaj]

Ichiro squeels with boyish delight at the tickling and spinning and lifting. Once on top of the saddle, Ichiro looks around, and then tries to stand up on the saddle to get an even better look at his surroundings.

"You can see everything from up here!" He exclaims. "How tall is this?" He asks, looking back at Butaj. "I saw those Otaku horses and they looked like mountains! Are they even taller? How fast is Hurudai? Hikazume was really fast, it was fun. Can we go that fast? When we go that fast it gets hard to see because of all the wind in my face, but that's ok because it's really fun." The boy begins to expel words in his excitement.

Butaj hops on Huludai behind the saddle to secure the boy in case of vaulting shenanigans. "Huludai is the biggest and the fastest stallion of his breed, he can go so fast that hair start popping out, so Butaj doesn't ride that fast because he likes his hair!" The big man laughs.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki laughed as the parade of animals and samurai ran past, then turned her attention back to Butaj and the boy with a soft smile to see him interact with the child, hoping that she would one day be lucky enough to see him with their own children.

Ichiro let out another gleeful scream as the animals ran by. "Your hair falls out? Is that why your hair looks so funny?" Ichiro asked with complete sincerity while Yuki had to cover her laugh with her hand.

[Moto Butaj]

"Oooh!" Butaj made a theatrically thoughtful face, then suddenly blooms into a full eureka smile. "It must be that! Butaj looks like he does because he rides fast so much! If you become a fierce rider, Ichiro, you will have funny hair like Butaj too! And then you will make your very special beautiful girl love you completely! If you learn to sing too, that is. Can you sing?"

[Asako Yuki]

Ichiro protectively put his hands over his head. "No thank you, I like my hair." He paused to think then. "Hai, dad has taught me a song. Do you want to hear it?"

[Moto Butaj]

"Sure Butaj wants to hear it!" Butaj reaches to the saddlebags for his topshur.

[Isawa Nonin]

Nonin and his puppy arrive to a scene of, well not chaos, but at least confusion. He pauses to watch how things sorted themselves out while Inu-kun barked encouragement now and then.

Takahiro continued to chase the amusing thing as it zigged and zagged. What was a chase without some hardship? He barked at the animal, and one back for the Hare to encourage her to keep up.

While Fukawa wasn't exactly thrilled to see a Phoenix, she was at least glad someone accepted her invitation.


She approached Nonin, and bowed politely to him.

"Good morning, Isawa-san. I am Doji Fukawa." she introduced herself. "Have you had rice today?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"I am Isawa Nonin, a shugenja of the Pheonix," he says with a deep bow, "and this is Inu-kun, at least until he earns a better name. Yes, thank you, I have. I hope the same is true for you, Doji-san."

"I was honored by your invitation. How have you found the miai?"

[Usagi Tsukimi]

The lamb made a hard right turn, kicking up debris and dirt in a spray behind its little hooves as it nearly fell over, running from the puppy. The lamb ran back to its new owner, and stood behind Tsukimi.
Tsukimi, for her worth, scooped up the lamb into her arms. Breathing hard, she shook her finger at the pup.
Then looked around and where they had ended up.
"Huh."

[Doji Fukawa]

"I have, Isawa-san. It's been a week and a half of exposure to interesting cultures, both the new Unicorn, and time spent with the other clans as well. How have you found it?" she offered.


Takahiro, meanwhile, scampered over to in front of the Hare.

He looks up at her with big puppy eyes and a thoughtless grin.

Look! I wore it out for you! Praise me! Praise me! he seemed to say.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

Succumbing to the cuteness of the doggo, Tsukimi leaned over, balancing her lamb, to pat the dog's head.
"No chasing lambs, little one. Now where is your owner so I can return you?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"Delightful," he replies. "The Unicorn are a refreshing breeze that will blow the dust from the Empire and allow us to make it a brighter and stronger place. All of the lines of the founding Kami are again reunited, it is a new dawn for the Empire."

[Doji Fukawa]

Takahiro spun in a circle for a moment, before slowly making his way back to the Doji, but waiting to make sure the Hare was following him.


"There has been a lot of hardship in the Empire recently." she agrees. "Hopefully, the return of the Unicorn will signal the end of that hardship."
