Does the advantage bean increase all spell TNs such as Maho, gaijin, and nonhuman magic cast against you? (Or is it more like the Magic Resistance Advantage and only works vs normal spells)

I take it the bean has the same problem as Magic Resistance where it effects friendly buff and healing spells too?

As the bean affects spell-casting TNs... does it interact with meishodo at all? Or are meishodo spells (good and bad) immune to meishodo beans?

Of course this may be entirely irrelevant if nobody manages to get one.

Can Forgery skill be used instead of Calligraphy to copy the characters onto the bean correctly?

If there's no TN to the spellcasting roll, then there's no roll to gain the TN increase.

If you give a magic bean to someone, do they gain the bean ability or is it only the crafter that gains it

Only the person that carved it.

And no, no roll, but I'm fine with characters realizing that the bean is vaguely blessed in some way.
