Again, let's be very clear that players can, and should, choose whoever they want. IC reasons are best, but the game rules have been up since Day 1.

Last Miai I had both of my prospects snapped up suddenly, and that was fine. It's how the game goes.

I just want people who are high on CP to feel no pressure about their choices, especially on the OOC side. We all signed on to get an arranged marriage for our characters, so nobody has the right to begrudge another player 'winning' the game.

I can't believe I have to explain this....but OK, here we go.

The entire reason I built this thing was so people could see who the pairs are most likely to have IC negative consequences for breaking them up. This is by no means a 'DO NOT BREAK THEM UP EVER THEY ARE IN LUV!!!". Naturally, because of the points system, couples will get broken up. No one will be surprised by this; no pairing is untouchable.

Instead, it's meant to:
1) Inform those who legitimately might not know OOC.
2) If you are in a position near the top and know you're going to break up a pair, it will at least let you pick the enmity that makes more sense for your character, from a Clan perspective. Example, if someone who's a Crane was to do a breakup, it might make more sense for them to piss off a Lion pair or a Scorpion pair because those groups already don't get along.

I mean from what I understand everyone is getting married to someone even if they're NPC. That being sure you can break one of the player couples but that will probably end giving you Sworn Enemy and Bitter Betrothal, so the IC reasons might be pretty big beyond the simple aggravating a low status samurai of an enemy Clan.

Besides I was too slow a starter on this game and Kaizen would try not to step on toes he knows about, so perhaps some conversations are due to ensure he knows more than he does... if he lives...

The question is just how much you'll like it

For the non-Unicorn, most are going to get married, it's just a matter of whether it's to a PC.

Even with a horse in this race, I have found it helpful as I didn't know several of these romances.

I would like Shinjo Kemuri and Miya Mei added. There's little danger of. Bitter Betrothal if Kemuri gets picked, but it is an established romance.
