Mei nods in agreement.

"I heard a tale about a great city that sparkled and shined like the sun, called the Jewel of the Desert. I would like to see it I think"

[Seppun Hideo]

That would be quite a sight. I wonder how long it would take to travel there? Many years I'm sure" Hideo frowned "and I'm unsure what to truly expect there. Is it really what I'd want to see? I'm not sure...we have our duties here after all."

[Ide Amaya]

She does not push Ti-Lu at this speed for long, gently slowing him until they were trotting again. She sat up, back straight and shoulders down, stroking his powerful neck and speaking words just for the steed to hear.

"This is true. I do not see any duty ever taking any of us there. But, who knows. For now I imagine we will only get to see it in pillow books. If the Unicorn write such things."

[Seppun Hideo]

"I'm certain the Unicorn will eventually draw up maps for it for us" Hideo nodded as he watched Amaya return "I would certainly enjoy viewing maps of the world outside our borders. There is much to be learn there."

[Miya Mei]

Mei looks to Amaya and nods at her.

"Hmm."

She thinks for a few moments while her puppy runs after Ti-Lu, barking wildly

[Ide Amaya]

She returns to the Imperials at a gentle walk, breathless and red-cheeked and obviously very happy. She slips neatly from Ti-Lu's back, gracefully, though her kimono does ride up around her thighs for a moment. She pats down her clothes and places a hand on the pony's neck.

"Shall I curry him for you? It seems only fair when I'm the one that tested him."

"You are quite skilled, Ide-san! Ti-Lu was quite eager to impress as well. I hope he did."

She bows at the offer

"I would appreciate it, thank you"

[Seppun Hideo]

Hideo smiled warmly. "You are truly a very talented rider, Amaya-san"

[Ide Amaya]

Blushing lightly, "he did impress, he is fleet of foot and long of stride. I greatly enjoyed riding him." She looks demurely to Hideo, and shakes her head, "not so talented as my kin, but I do so enjoy it."

She bows to the pair, "if you'll excuse me, Ti-Lu needs to be properly rubbed down and curried." She indicates in the direction of the stables where cloths and combs and blankets have been provided.

[Miya Mei]

"Certainly, Ide-san"

Mei looks to Hideo and motions with her head to the stables, her eyes questioning.

"I need to train this pup, when you are finished please stable him. I am glad you enjoyed yourself!"

[Ide Amaya]

She bows, "Miya-sama, I can never repay this, but ask anything of me and if it is in my power, I will deliver it."

She bows to Hideo as well, "Hideo-sama," and leads Ti-Lu and her she-pup towards the stables.

Hideo bowed to Amaya, looking back to Mei with a curious look. He was surprised she was letting someone else stable her horse

"I am surprised, I would have thought you would have gone with her. Was there something you needed from me, Seppun-san?"

[Seppun Hideo]

"I will join her in a moment" Hideo nodded "however, I would first like to ask about the situation you and Otaku Kitakuhime-sama find yourselves in."
