Day 8 [LM] The Best Part Of Waking Up (Expecting)

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles at Liu Fei. "I am glad of it." She looks at the offering. "Bakon? I have not tried this as of yet." She reaches for a piece, slightly unsure. She takes a bite cautiously. "Hmmm...Smoky. This is intriguing." She ponders a moment. "Is it a difficult process to raise hogs?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Taking the Manju that was offered she ate it, piece by piece while she continued to speak, "Not difficult, no. At least, not as I can tell. I am sure there are some precautions that are taken to avoid them getting out and when they bring them in to slaughter. Something that should be simple enough for the peasants of the Empire to be taught."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Taking the Manju that was offered she ate it, piece by piece while she continued to speak, "Not difficult, no. At least, not as I can tell. "I would agree with that. That would something for them to sort out... Manju for you both?" he offered to Monkhbaatar and Kogo.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo reached for a sweet. "Thank you Suteichi-san. " She looked over at the gathering. "So what do you think of the Moto's latest challenge? I have high hopes for it."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

Monkhbaatar also takes one of the treats. "Thank you."

Responding to Kogo's question he gives a shrug. "I'm not really sure. The puppies are fun and everything, but they're pretty demanding of attention."

[Matsu Kogo]

She laughs. "They are young ones. It is their nature to demand." She clicks her tongue at Noburu, who looks as if she is contemplating swatting Kabu. Noburu sighs and continues letting the puppy leap all over her.

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"I don't think I was ever this demanding when I was a young pup," he replies with a chuckle.

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles at him. "That is because you were obviously a courteous samurai. You must have patience with your young one and provide him a positive example. I have no fear of your abilities to do so."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Well, at the very least, even if I don't train him right, I'll have had a fun day with him."

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles. "That is true. Always a master of the present moment, Monkh-san. I will have to continue being your pupil in these discussions."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

For the brief while that Kogo and Monkhbatar had a little back and forth. Fei had promptly allowed her own pup to take over her attention when he crawled into her lap. Deciding then that the best course of action was to tickle and rile up the little guy.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo saw Liu Fei playing with the puppy, getting him wound up. "He has a great deal of spirit, that one."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei looked up from tickling the puppy but didn't cease, with a little smile she nodded, "Impossible to get him to calm down, so I stopped trying."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Nergüi is much the same. A lot of energy and wanting to run around." Monkhbaatar nods in understanding.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Fei looked up from tickling the puppy but didn't cease, with a little smile she nodded, "Impossible to get him to calm down, so I stopped trying."

"You're quite good with the pup, Liu Fei-chan." Suteichi let it roll off his tongue with ease. He did not care that Monkhbaatar knew of his feelings for Fei. For that matter, he no longer cared if anyone else knew.

"One would say you're almost...motherly." he joked, looking deadpan.
