“Next time we meet I shall tell you the tale of the four maidens and the boat, that was three nights I shall never forget, we sailed to the edge of the world,” he says warmly and departs with a bounce in his step.
The Matsu had been trying to make sense of the fans in front of him to no avail. The arrival of Khulun provided him a respite and avoided him destroying the table in frustration.
"Khulun," he said with a smile. "I met the great sage."
“Did my big strong Lion need some soothing? I would have thought you too hard and solid for such things but beneath that skin beats the heart of a romantic,” she teases lightly placing a hand on his shoulder.
He frowned as a blush creep into his cheeks "No, it isn't like," he retorted. "Its just today I didn't manage to keep the puppy and that... that really hurt."
He pointed to some gnawed fans on the side "Now this will be the only reminder of Kurohime."
"I will," he replied his eyes still locked on the gnawed fans. "Moto Silvia made me understand that the memories I created with her were the best and that Kurohime will always remember."
He sighed and shifted his eyes to the Moto "Also I have another to give my affections to," he narrowed his eyes at her. "Though I hope she doesn't gnaw on the fans."
"Well I've been trying to use these brushes," he picked a small painting brush. "They are what artisans use."
He dipped the brush in a container filled with black ink resting it on its edge to let the excess drip back to it before carefully doing a stroke on one of the fans. "Huh," he seemed surprised. "At least this time I didn't stroke through the fan."
