"Samurai and monks, hee?" he sounded surprised. Then again, apparently the Dragon were enigmatic and detached from the life at Empire. "Uh... that sounds exotic. I've never heard of anything quite like that."

"Falling in love with in such a short time? That is a very brave claim."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"I would say an impossible one. Of all the stories I've read, Benten tends to bestow her blessings when it is least expected, not when they are sought after." she says.

She gestures towards the distant monk/samurai.

"But one could argue that Togashi-san is well familiar with the impossible, so perhaps he'll succeed."

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"Well.. I am no expert of such things as my expertise lies elsewhere." Dong-Ha muttered, somewhat disturbed by the topic. "Uh.. I just meant that, it would usually take longer time for any such feelings to blossom." Or that was what he thought of it. "Well I guess the time will show how impossible his quest is."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"So it is with all things." she agrees, watching the lancing continue.

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"Indeed, Doji-san, indeed." Dong-Ha murmured, agreeing with the Crane.

So they watched the event unfold, with some samurai winning fame and others finding themselves on the ground.
