Wake up Tea (Day 8 Late Morning, Akil's Yurt)

"Hai. I trust him with my life." She took a sip of tea. "I fought alongside him against the orochi. He kept me safe and addressed my wounds."

"Then it sounds as if you have chosen a good husband," he nodded, his smile broadening. "I am glad that you have found a potential husband to respect, and a woman worthy of your admiration."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"We will see if I am able to marry him." Yue traced her finger along the cup, feeling the heat emanating from the tea. "Neither of us are high enough in the rankings to be certain of our arrangements." Still, she smiled at him brightly. "I am glad that you have security, Akil-dono."

[Shinjo Akil]

His face burned red, and he looked down at his cup. "Ah... Thank you, Liu Yie-chan."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue smirked. "I will have to do my best to climb higher up." She began to laugh. "I must say that I find it amusing that I did so well at the Otaku events. My injuries made me ill-suited for either of our Family's events. The Moto trained me and yet I am not particularly trained for their events either." As if on cue, Gon ran over and circled her. "I may be lucky today," she added with a smile.

[Shinjo Akil]

"I truly wish you the best of luck," he smiled, "I hope we all leave here happier than we came."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"I hope to leave with more than a husband," she said with a smirk. She stopped the circling puppy and placed him on her lap. "It would not take long for him to grow."

[Shinjo Akil]

"Speaking of more," he considered, "are you going to have any issues with... Making love to your husband?"

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue held in her gasp enough to keep her from completely dropping her tea cup. She placed it down and then stared at him, utterly bewildered. "Akil-dono..."

[Shinjo Akil]

"Sorry," he, on the other hand, laughed a bit. "It was just a thing I thought worth consideration. You don't have to answer, of course." A breath, "and please stop calling me -dono. I can't have my best friend treating me like some mythic figure."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"I will settle the matter with my husband," she concluded. She then nodded her head. "Hai. Akil-sama? Akil-san?"

Best friend?! Yes!

[Shinjo Akil]

"Preferably not -sama," he laughed, "I suppose -san is fine, or -kun if you feel like being cute."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"Akil-san," she concluded. The honorific "-kun" was clearly too casual for her.

[Shinjo Akil]

"Very well," he nodded, "Akil-san it is. I suppose it is just as well, if Fukawa heard you call me '-kun' she might get the wrong idea," he laughed a bit.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue smirked. "We would not want that, Akil-san. I am sure that she has many ways to deal with those who oppose her," she remarked, half-joking.
