Mei huffs, her kimono quite messy from the enthusiastic puppy attack.

"I'm not sure what you want me to say, Moto-san. My reasons are to show exactly what the Unicorn are walking into. And my message is, if you do not like it, change it. There are many who would follow, though they need someone to lead."

She shrugs.

"I already know you despise me, and Otaku-sama wants me dead. I think I have not failed at all. Two leaders of your people hate me for being what the Empire is."

“So your plan is to get us to hate you, well then you have succeeded beyond any shadow of doubt,” she says with a nod.

“I think my sister does not hate you, it’s not in her nature she is probably more disappointed than anything. Me… if you were on fire… well I would find somewhere else to piss.”

[Miya Mei]

"She is a shining example of Bushido. She will make a wonderful leader to her people. Hopefully she can see the lesson here when it is all finished."

There is a long moment of silence.

"We have spoken enough I think though. At least on this matter. Even the worst of enemies can share civil thoughts. Tell me, other than me, how have you enjoyed the miai?"

“It has been a unique experience, one that I am not sure I wish to repeat but has been fruitful all the same,” she says to the Imperial.

“You?”

"I wish I had arrived earlier. My horse had suffered a sprain that required care. From what I hear the first five days were quite eventful. I would have liked to have been a part of them."

[Moto Khulun]

“That is unfortunate, is your pony well now?” she asks.

[Miya Mei]

"Indeed. Ide Amaya-san was riding him this morning actually, and a few days ago he managed to beat Shinjo Kemuri-san's horse in a race. Be careful when you ride out, there are many rodent hols that can trip up a horse. The Empire isn't used to having to worry about such a thing."

[Moto Khulun]

“I am a better rider than both of them, and Oguro is a stallion with few equals that are not of the Otaku,” she says proudly.

[Miya Mei]

"I can only image. I have yet to see a steed of the Moto in person. I picture them larger than life, much like their riders. Fantastic creatures, truly."

[Moto Khulun]

“Indeed they are,” she says patting her horse.

“They are willful animals, it takes much skill to tame them.”

[Miya Mei]

"Do you breed them with the Otaku? Or are their bloodlines kept separate?"

Mei looks at the horse a bit more, but keeps her distance, not moving form her spot.

[Moto Khulun]

“The most worthy are allowed that privilege but the Otaku are very particular on that matter. I do not know the long and short of it, but it has been this way for as long as we have bred them. The Otaku stallions are more than just horse,” she says honestly.

[Miya Mei]

"I would like to see one someday. It is truly amazing how different your clans horses are than the Empires."

[Moto Khulun]

“What are you looking for, Imperial,” she asks tentatively.

[Miya Mei]

Mei turns her head a little to the side, confused.

"In regards to your horses? Im not looking for anything. I just wish to see them. See the differences in breeds, their speed, strength, stamina, intelligence...the list could go on and on. I get a lot of enjoyment being around horses."
