[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo arrives, carrying little Kabu, who sleeps in her arms. Though the duel may be inauspicious, it must be witnessed. She ventures to the viewing area and sees the horses available to ride. Unable to resist, she leaves Kabu with Noburu curled around him and mounts, enjoying her new skills.

[Miya Mei]

Mei looks to Khulun.

"I am glad. Your pup is quite energetic."

She then looks back to Kitakuhime to have her question answered.

Mei's puppy, seeing the other dog try to lick at her feet as she mounted the horse decides to play with Nintoku, his current master otherwise engaged.

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

Kitakuhime gives a 'stand down' look to Khulun, while Butajduluun barks at the rather loud animal nearby Butaj's steed.

"Is Hinode one of your families steeds?"

Kitakuhime nods. "She is," Blowing a kiss to sooth Gekko, she asks, "What do you think?"

Udo walks up and sees everyone gathered. With a nod to himself, he goes to stand near Takeo.

The Shiotome greets Takeo, Udo and Kogo with a proper nod. "Minna-san, welcome. Please, enjoy refreshments if your puppies allow."

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo bows atop her borrowed horse. "I fear mine will sleep the afternoon away. But I thank you for your hospitality Otaku-sama."

[Miya Mei]

"She has power in her. I can feel it with every step she takes. A very strong creature. She is smart as well, I think I could let go of the reins completely and she would guide me safe to whatever my destination be."

Mei looks as the others begin to gather.

"Otaku-sama, Did you speak with the governor about our dispute?"

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun nods and relaxes her stance letting out the tenseness in her muscles. She does not soften her look but otherwise will follow Kitakuhime’s lead. She looks at Mei and then urges her mount at a gentle trot in a wide circle around dueling circle.

[Togashi Udo]

Udo bows to Kitakuhime when greeted, but otherwise stays silent, watching the odd exchange.

The Otaku nods again, glad the Matsu joined them in the ride reconnoissance round over the dueling felds.

"A couple more days and I'm sure Hinode-chan would be as protective and caring to Miya-san as Gekko-kun is with me." The battle maiden caresses her horse's mane. "Hai. Dabo-sama is aware."

[Moto Khulun]

“A bit bigger than the creatures you are used to, eh Imperial,” she says to Mei.

“Perhaps too much horse for most.”

[Matsu Kogo]

Having done her duties, Kogo taps the horse, putting it into a walk, then a trot.

Khulun watches the Lion and urges Oguro to get fancy with some nifty hoof steps as he trots along like a champion. She says to the Lion, “You ride good, Lion.”

Hearing word of possible dueling, Taira arrived, satchel in hand.

To first blood, to the death, either way, there was a good chance someone would need bandaging, and if someone died, it wouldn't be from lack of care.

Find a pole a short distance from the event, he leaned against the wooden pillar, crossing his arms and waiting to see what would happen, and feeling absolutely no desire to approach any closer, given the company.

His puppy came and sat on his foot, panting and staring into the distance vacantly.

Kogo looks to the left and sees Moto Khulun. "I am Matsu Kogo, Moto-san. We met the first night at the dinner. Otaku Chi-pu introduced us." Kogo looks to the side a brief moment and then turns back. "I thank you for your compliment. It is a new skill, but I am finding it very satisfying."

[Miya Mei]

Mei looks to Khulun

"I could see how some who could have some difficulty, as your steeds are much larger than ours, Moto-san. But I imagine they were bred for different purposes. Everyone has their place in the world, after all, and some are better at things than others."

With a narrowing of her eyes for a moment at the woman she then looks back to Kitakuhime.

"She seems a lovely mare, I am truly blessed to sit atop her. The foal these two produce will be very saught after I imagine."

Mei pats Hinode on the neck.

"What was his verdict, and who will be officiating us?"

[Yuzuki]

Katsuo walked the walk, staring at the other puppies gathered as he did. He did not bark. He did not yip. He was Katsuo, the conquerer, a regal creature confident of its own superiority and having no need to assert it. They were all here to see him. The puppies, and their human pets.

Yuzuki meanwhile, was following along, semi-certain a duel of sorts was to take place but being all too distracted by puppies to pay too much attention. Also the voices, because those were definitely still a thing. Unfortunately.

Why are we following this foul creature?
Because he is Katsuo.
Yes, the conquerer, he is.
You guys disgust me.

Somehow, between the two sources of distraction, Yuzuki could manage a bow to anyone who'd care to notice.
