"You never know who this sheep was in his past life."

"I'm sure if his life was unfortunate enough that he was reborn as a sheep, he has heard far worse than anything I have said today."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"You have a point. But now he has me, so I'd say his fortunes are looking up."

[Shinjo Akil]

"At least until the first time you throw him into a river expecting him to swim," he grinned.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

".... Can sheep swim? That... might hamper things." She considers, and drums fingerpads on her lower lip.

[Shinjo Akil]

"I mean, they figure it out if they need to, but I wouldn't take one for a dip in a nearby lake or anything." He shook his head, "maybe if you steal the sheep, let it watch you swim instead?"

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"I'm not going to steal a sheep. That would be dishonourable. I'll barter for it."

[Shinjo Akil]

"How many goats do you have for trade?"

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She paused, and counted on her fingers.
".... None. I'll figure something out."

[Shinjo Akil]

"What about a cow? I'm sure we would accept a cow."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"I currently own no livestock, Shinjo-san."

[Shinjo Akil]

"Hm, that is a problem," he nodded, "Perhaps you have grains to trade? I know rice is popular around the Empire."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"I could buy some." She nodded emphatically. "I don't want to insult the Unicorn. So I'd rather not smuggle a sheep away in the dark of night, and flee, lost to my fate, forever on the run, with only Nagareboshi-san to keep me company."
She nuzzled the sheep again gently.

[Shinjo Akil]

"In all seriousness, I'm sure that the Unicorn will accept Koku," he laughed, "though that is more a question for the Ide than I."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She gestures to the baby sheep.
"Look at his cuteness!"



"He wants to run away with me. The Ide? ..... I'll have to track one down. Maybe at the Administrative centre in the morning. Provided I'm not beset by any other plans in preparation for the next Moto event."
