"You are wise to say that," he nodded and smiled

[Usagi Tsukimi]

That stopped her, and Tsukimi looked at the Unicorn.
"You're the first to call me such."

[Shinjo Akil]

He canted his head at that. "Truly? That seems odd." he looked down at the sheep, smiling as he pat one, "or perhaps I am a fool who is too free with his compliments. It can be hard to tell sometimes."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"Well, I'll take the compliment nonetheless, and won't call you foolish for it. Okay?"

[Shinjo Akil]

"Fair," he nodded.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"I am one with the sheep.
The sheep are with me."

[Shinjo Akil]

"Er," he blinked, "I do not think the sheep share your perspective."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"Well, that remains to be seen. Isn't that right, Nagareboshi-san?"

Oh no, she's already named the sheep.

"You'd like to come with me, wouldn't you? I'll give you sweets, and we'll send letters to your mother detailing all our adventures together across the Empire? Wouldn't you like that? Who's a good boy?"

She scritched the sheep's chin.

Who was a good boy, indeed.

"..." He... he could not even.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

The silence from the Unicorn was palpable.

"Huh."

She stood up again, and brushed off her kimono.

"So if I'm hearing you right, you're saying this is probably a bad idea."

[Shinjo Akil]

"I didn't say anything," he stated bluntly. "Consider it me allowing you to come to your own conclusion."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"You're a good man, Shinjo-san. Doji-san is lucky to have you. Perhaps I will find happiness with the sheep!"

[Shinjo Akil]

"I would hope not," his face took a deadpan, "A sheep is not likely to show you the love a person might."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

Her eyes went wide.
She covered the sheep's ears with her hands.

"That's soooo not what I meant." she exclaimed in a harsh whisper.

[Shinjo Akil]

"Now I am just trying to work out why you are covering the sheep's ears like it is a Samurai child that could understand us," he leaned against the fence, the smirk returning.
