[D7 EM] Close Combat

[Soshi Yuuru]

A series of recent memories flashed through his mind as a smile crept onto his lips, "I do know him, yes. He's a capable man... but I'm afraid I don't know much more."

He paused and smiled again, "What makes him interesting?"

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"He is a well-educated and a compassionate man," Yue remarked. She then nodded. "He is a capable wrestler. He is the reason why I asked you about your skills, Soshi-san."

She let out a small chuckle. "He is doing well in horse riding lessons. Do you know how to ride a horse, Soshi-san?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He shook his head and smiled, "Yesterday was my first attempt. I did well enough... but more importantly I learned how fun it could be. I can see why you all like it so."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue smiled. "That is good, Soshi-san. Who is your teacher?" she asked out of genuine curiosity. "I have told many others that any Unicorn will expect her husband to know how to ride a horse."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "I haven't had any lessons."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"Oh!" Yue bowed out of reflex. "Sou desu ka. Your first time on a horse was in the lancing competition. I heard you did well, Soshi-san." She scratched the back of her head. "Would you like me to teach you more about horseback riding?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled, "That's a generous offer Shinjo-san. I'm afraid I don't have a horse to practice with..."

[Usagi Tomoe]

Dong-Ha saw what Tomoe was trying to do and yielded, only to twist so that her momentum would carry her to the ground.

The Unicorn and the Hare seemed to be in quite the stalemate. The least shift in balance could send either of them toppling down, pinned underneath the other.

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

It seemed that the two were equally matched, as Dong-Ha refused to yield under her relentless assault. Figuring he needed an alternative approach, Dong-Ha shifted his hold and pressed his fingers on Tomoe's sides in hopes of tickling her and thus causing her to lose her balance.

He smiled, "That's a generous offer Shinjo-san. I'm afraid I don't have a horse to practice with..."

"You can ride on Hikazume. She is my steed and she has served as an excellent training horse."

Tomoe shrieked in protest at the tickling... but it wasn't enough to give Dong-Ha enough of an advantage to push her down. Though it certainly weakened her hold on him.
