[Ide Samai]

Samai merely nodded silently, allowing Saksaha to run wild the topic. Talking destiny was not her ballpark.

[Iuchi Saksaha]

The tiny Moshi kept quiet as she remembered her dream. She grew sad as she knows the bad omens that are to come.

"Moshi-san... was your dream like mine? A dead army in Unicorn colors?" Saksaha presses, making a warding gesture as she speaks these very unlucky words.

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Hai..." Asakiko answers as she continued meditating on her calculations.

[Yuzuki]

"The Onyx Champion is called... Kiyoshi." Saksaha looks like the name has a bad taste in her mouth. "Not Eli." Picking up on her unease, the horse Gio shifts impatiently, and Saksaha takes a moment to stroke her neck and soothe her. "How did you know to come here, Yuzuki-san? Maybe Ide-sama is right, knowing something more about your other messages and how they have come to you might help to understand this one."

"I did not have other messages this day. Merely the one I already shared. When the time came, the voices seemed to come from this direction, drawing me here."

[Iuchi Saksaha]

Saksaha nods. "If there are other messages while you are here... We have shared the same warning, the three of us. It seems to me maybe we are connected."

She glances at Samai. "Ide-sama, there are other things you want to speak of?"

[Ide Samai]

Samai pondered. "Thank you for your time here minnasan. I just want to make sure, that nothing is misinterpreted. We saw the best course of action was to parlay with the... Onyx Champion." What a stuffy name. "We do not dabble in such matters, but it seemed better than ignoring the warning."

She sighed. "Thank you for your patience and help, minnasan."

[Yuzuki]

"I know little of these things, Ide-sama," Yuzuki said, "but it is clear what happened here will have repercussions no matter what."

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Beware of plagues..." The Moshi said in an odd addition to what was happening.

[Ide Samai]

"Hai, that is for certain. Well, thank you for your time minnasa-" She picked her head up at the last part. "Plagues Moshi-san? Did you... see something?"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"The stars told me that sickness will be coming and people should be getting regular check ups." She said very sure of herself.

[Iuchi Saksaha]

"What kind of sickness, Moshi-san? Has it anything to do with--" Saksaha gestures in the general direction they'd been riding away from, back toward where the Onyx Champion had come to meet them, "--that?"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"I do not know but if the Onyx champion is around then the s hadowlands taint is not far behind. Those undead horsemen... we're once your kin..."

[Ide Samai]

Samai felt herself go green at the though.... she felt dizzy. "Oh Benten's twisted dress in the dirt..."

She took deep breaths. "Iuchi-san... how is that possible?"

[Iuchi Saksaha]

"I think this dream shows what could be. Not what is or what must be," Saksaha says with possibly unwarranted confidence. "It is what that one"--she jerks her head in the direction of the former meeting site--"wants us to bargain with him. Our dead to ride in his armies. If we strike no pacts and have no more talk with him, it will not come to pass."

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Hopefully it can be an alternate path for you to walk." She nodded
