Day 7 [LE] Lady Of My Life (Suteichi's Yurt)

[Bayushi Suteichi]

With the riding lesson over, Suteichi had little time to make everything ready for dinner with Liu Fei. Incense was lit as were candles. The spread was on the table was rice, salmon, the spiced goat meatballs he was introduced to, vegetables, there was a small bowl of cheese, mainly for her. There was plum wine and sake for drinking and of course tea. He was in a more formal attire for dinner and awaited his guest.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Liu Fei arrived, proving once again that he had seen her entire wardrobe the day they first met. Ducking her head as she quickly, quietly, made her way to his tent she slipped inside immediately. It probably made her more suspicious but it made her feel more secure.

Once inside she smiled, having had a whole in her usual defenses once again. "Gokiburi is safe and clean in his stable again, getting ready for sleep," she said as she examined the room. "Did you do all of this in just that time?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"When you have a mother who teaches you the finer points of etiquette and presentation, you can do anything. Welcome and be welcomed... my bride." he bowed deeply to her and smiled.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

That last addition gave her a little pause, taking a second to recover she bowed in turn. "Both of which you are going to show me more of, at least how it has developed back here in the Empire," she said, figuring it best to set a direction. "While we enjoy this..." she just looked to the meal in awe for a moment. Never seeming to finish the sentence.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

He approached her. "Yes?..Is there something wrong my lady?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

When he approached her she tried to think of the words she wanted to use to describe how great the prepared meal looked. Instead...

Liu Fei brought her hands up, one to his jaw and the other resting just at the base of his neck. Stealing a kiss. Opening her eyes again as settled back onto the ground and stood there leaving her hands on his shoulders. Fei said softly, "No, there is nothing wrong. This meal looks wonderful beyond words."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"I just want you to have the best. I want to be the best...for you and only you." he planted a long, passionate kiss on her. His arms wrapped around her and held her. When their lips parted, he took her by the hand, and took her to the table.

"We would not want the food to go to waste. Please, sit." he gestured. He sat across from her and prepared her plate first. Once food was plated he poured plum wine for them.

"This is plum wine. I am curious as to how you like it."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

For a few moments she lost track of the ground despite her feet being firmly planted on it. The future could take things from her, but it couldn't take the present. When they parted she stood there with a light smile. Only moving when he took her hand to guide her to her seat.

With the moment long enough to allow her to be able to compose herself once again. "With food like this is would be a shame to allow it to sit for another moment," she agreed. Looking to the wine as he spoke of it. Wanting to find the answer he sought she took a hold of the cup and looked to him, "Only one path to find out," she said before taking a sip. Trying to find an opinion of the flavor.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

He watched her waiting for her reaction.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Seeing as he gave little indication of hope, she was honest. Which was to say she liked it, but then that was true for most things with an alcohol content. Showing that by raising her brow as she sipped again.

"It is interesting, Suteichi-san. I do not think I have had something quite so.. that tasted as this does."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"It is a sweet taste...For someone so sweet." he said smiling at her.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I would not think to describe myself as sweet," she said in response before she really thought about it. When she had, she remembered this is probably when she'd use his fan but with just them she let the slight warmth to her cheeks show. Something to blame on the alcohol.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Take it easy on the drink there." he snickered. He took some bites of the meatballs and rice. "So, you really enjoyed the song today?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"It was for me, by one I want to be interested in me," she said flatly. Letting it sit for a moment before she let her lips form the teasing smile, "I adored it Suteichi-san."

With that she started on her meal.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Humph! Smart-ass." Suteichi replied with a smirk and continued his meal.
