Kitakuhime glares over Khulun. "Apologize to Miya-san, please. The Imperial Families ought to be respected, and then, stay silent, Khulun-san."

Mei sighs.

"It seems we have hit a wall then. I was trying to explain why your behavior just now would be considered a slight to all who have gathered today. Since you will not hear my words, my blade and heaven must speak them. Truly, I was trying to assist you to avoid further damage to your clans name."

Mei shakes her head and gives a patronizing smile, her eyes full of disappointment.

Mei clears her throat and speaks LOUDLY.

"LET IT BE KNOWN, MIYA MEI ISSUES A CHALLENGE TO OTAKU KITAKUHIME."

She lowers her voice

"In the Empire we perform such duels in the presence of witnesses who have legal standing to take the testimony of the outcome."

With another sigh she turns.

"May the heavens favor you, Otaku-sama. You will need it."

Khulun was livid but towards the Imperial, but she obeys for now and simply folds her arms across her chest.

Respect these assholes, fat chance of that.

"Nothing of our concern unless it's made our concern," he shrugged, "Have you found a food that you favor among the-" His eyes moved to the Miya who issued the challenge, his eyes narrowing. There is no situation where this turns out well.

The rabbit perked up at that loud announcement. The hell...?

Oh, it was that Miya... no doubt someone who wanted to trace the footsteps of Asako Chidori, she mused wryly, and inched a little closer to the gathering. She had been a support for the Unicorn before, and she looked on to see if there was anything she could do.

Next was the first of the great disappointments, a event that caused the Badger to turn a blind eye and ear to those around him for the rest of this travesty.

Liu Yue as much as declared her love for another woman, at a miai. It was a slap in tge face to every man here. He waant sure he was willing to speak with her again.

Hanashi joined the onlookers after his singing.
