[Ide Amaya]

"Being true doesn't make the talk bigger, or any more deserving of attention. It is little talk for little minds who have no business of their own and must twitter about others like so many little sparrows. I take it that his explanation was satisfying to you? For if it was, then put it out of your mind, and certainly do not let it spoil your experience." She smiles then, encouragingly.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki frowned in some disagreement, but slowly shook her head some to let the moment pass. "Hai, he did, and... I am. But, our conversation after gave me much to think on as well." She blushed a little.

[Ide Amaya]

"I regret that our actions have discomforted you, Asako-sama. Know that we did not act frivolously. Beyond the Empire we could have said that we knew well the meaning of our actions. That we were not sufficiently prepared for how the Empire would consider such matters is a failing of the Ide, not the individual. Be kind in your thoughts, please."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki blushed a bit more. "Please, Ide-san. It is in the past. I assure you, the matter has been resolved."

[Ide Amaya]

"My apologies, Asako-sama, I only want you to know I hold you in high esteem."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki smiled. "Arigato, Ide-san. There have been many here that have given me aid, or a friendly ear. I appreciate it."

[Ide Amaya]

"And how has everything else been for you? The events? I know that our accommodations are simple, but are your needs being met?"

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki giggled a little bit. "The furs were weird at first, though I managed to conquer them on the first day. I think the meal was still one of my favorite events. It was delightful for me, though I am sad some did not enjoy the experience." She grinned. "Cheese is delicious."

[Ide Amaya]

Smiling warmly, "it is, isn't it? I think I would be terribly sad if I couldn't eat cheese."

[Asako Yuki]

"Hai." Yuki smiled. "Though I expect that, given the reactions of some here, it will not be spreading too widely into the Empire at large."

[Ide Amaya]

"Ah, but there are still delights here that are new. I was quite enchanted by the fried scallops. I look forward to tasting more of the sea's plenty."

[Asako Yuki]

"You should visit any of the lands near the ocean, then, Ide-san. The seafood is tremendous." Yuki said with a grin. "Depending on your choice of husband, you may end up there."

[Ide Amaya]

She smiles, "it has been mentioned to me that the sea is also beautiful. I should like to see it for myself, and soon, Fortunes willing."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki tilted her head a bit, then smiled conspiratorially. "Oh? Ide-san has someone in mind that lives near the sea then?"

[Ide Amaya]

She blushes a little, "yes, we intend to be married." There is a careful confidence in her voice, the kind that speaks of certainty, but fears to draw too great an attention to it.
