[Matsu Kogo]

She winces slightly. "Yes, it was less than pleasant. I wish I had gotten one of my teachers to teach me the best way to fall off a horse. But I was rather focused on staying on." She looks puzzled at him. "How so? The standings seem to be the rather major factor here. If you have another idea, I would be happy to listen."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Kogo-san, you many not like what you hear and I would rather play this one close to the chest."

[Matsu Kogo]

She thinks for a moment. "I would be glad to hear your advice, as always Suteichi-san. And I will keep what you say to me private."

[Soshi Yuuru]

Imane rose when Shinjo Akil entered and offered him a bow. "Ohayuou Shinjo-san, thank you for joining us."

She returned her attention to Yuuru. "Shinjo-san kindly agreed to act as my chaperone this evening, have you met him yet Soshi-san? He is a hero of the Unicorn, though I do not believe he has yet wrestled a snakeman."

A smile crossed her lips and she returned to their previous thread of conversation.

"It is kind of you to say that my people I have much to offer. I believe this as well. As for today's contest Almatar will be pleased to know she is so highly praised, but I maintain that your performance impressed me today Soshi-san. After all, when last we met I mentioned that I enjoyed cavalry charges. It would have been unfortunate if I had failed to show my skills, whereas you had not done this before today."

Yuuru nodded to Akil as he arrived. Once his presence was explained he nodded again.

I wonder if he's here to watch me... or make sure she doesn't draw any heat...

"It was indeed a new experience. It just takes a bit of maneuverability and strength. I had never thought it could be so entertaining before I tried it today." He said with a formal nod.

"How have you been since we last conversed Otaku-sama?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

She thinks for a moment. "I would be glad to hear your advice, as always Suteichi-san. And I will keep what you say to me private."

"I know. I know... Can you just trust me to do what is necessary?"

[Matsu Kogo]

She pauses. "Suteichi-san, do not take this in the wrong way, but I am slightly concerned about your possible methods...But your advice has never steered me wrong before." She thinks.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Persistent... Where was this persistence at Akodo Court... Oh never mind!

"How are things progressing with Shinjo... Shnjo Monkh....the name eludes me." He was clearly diverting the conversation from himself.

She flows with the topic change. "Monkhbaatar. He is kind and gentlemanly. He seems reluctant to commit himself, due to the unusual nature of the miai, which is understandable. " If frustrating. "He is an excellent companion though. We spent some time together this morning and I have not laughed so much in days. He is a happy soul, with much to recommend him. " She smiles, remembering.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"If he makes you happy...pursue him. If you want him to commit, show him a reason why."

[Matsu Kogo]

She shakes her head. "You've told me such things before Suteichi-san. And I tried with another to show him a reason to stay. But I fear I must have misunderstood your advice. For I suspect it did not succeed at anything but causing confusion."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Goodness woman! You have got to... Forget it. Never miss an opportunity to give good karma...I suppose..

"I cannot teach you confidence. That is something you have or you don't...still, we all stumble Kogo-san. It is important that we do not fall."

[Matsu Kogo]

She looks at him. "It is true." She shakes her head. "Confidence...confidence..." She looks at him and smiles wryly. "Why do you put up with such a student as I Suteichi-san? I must frustrate you continually."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"There are many things that frustrate me and many people that annoy me...you are learning. You are growing. Why is that a reason to get frustrated with you?"

[Matsu Kogo]

She pauses. "I had not seen it that way. It seems that one is always growing less fast than one wishes." She smiles at him. "What have you learned during this miai Suteichi-san?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Anything is possible. Good, bad or indifferent. No different than anything else in life."
