Daily History Lessons V (Day 6, Late Afternoon)

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Ah, hai, Yuzuki-san?" Tomoe nodded to the Mantis. She looked a little concerned at the Mantis who seemed to be in pain.

[Yuzuki]

"Huh, oh, yeah, I was." She answered the Matsu's question without elaborating, as Tomoe in turn answered Yuzuki's call, telling her to go ahead with the question, while mistakenly believing Yuzuki's injuries were painful!

Pain? Bah! There was no pain, there was only...

Eli...

Uhm...

Eli Is coming.

"I was wondering. Since you know so much. Does... 'Eli' mean anything to you?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe blinked a few times.

"Uhm... no...?" she looked a little puzzled.

[Yuzuki]

"Oh."

Well, that was dissappointing.

Eli's coming.

"Thank you," Yuzuki said, not explaining why she asked that bizarre question, and instead scanning her surroundings. She looked pretty distracted.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

"She fought bravely." Hiroji said to Kogo as he nodded to Yuzuki.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo looked at the Mantis with more of an appraisal than before. Perhaps I have underestimated her. And it said she wrestled Butaj oneof the days, wasn't it? That is no small feat. She smiles at the Mantis. "You seem to have impressed a number of people with your skill Mantis-san. This is the second story I have heard in as many days of your martial capabilities."

Kogo is not entirely sure how to handle the bizarre question, so she sticks with ignoring that it occurred.

[Yuzuki]

"Oh, hmm. Thanks? Like I said, just got lucky I guess. Right place, right time. That sort of thing."

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji nods. "yes, people tend to not survive a full frontal impact from a dragon."

[Yuzuki]

"I'm not sure Orochi count as real dragons," she replied, then looked to Tomoe, as if seeking confirmation of that assessment.

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Orochi are not dragons, so to speak..." the Hare added, feeling there was a question in the air. "They look similar to ryu in some regards, but they are not related, I think."

[Seppun Hideo]

"However" Hideo interjected into the conversation "to have faced such a being and lived is still quite impressive. How many of you faced the Orochi?"

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji nodded. "Still, the force of that impact could have killed many lesser samurai."

[Kaiu Hiroji]

"I was there Seppun-san." Hiroji nods.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo looks at the crab with more speculation. It appears I am missing all the fighting somehow. "It must have been a great battle." I wonder...would it be improper to ask how Otaku Chi-pu died? It must be. But I wish I could know.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji nods. "It was a battle. Although..." He looks pained for a moment, but cuts his sentence short.
