Keeping in Practice (Day 4, LA)

[Moto Khulun]

“Yes I am told you have many sorcerers, a legion right? Bringing fire and lighting from the skys! Rain much death on your foes! I would like to see that, see if they can resist Moto and Otaku charges!” she says with admiration.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki frowned at that a little. "I hope we do not, it would mean we've gone to war."

[Moto Khulun]

“Perhaps one day but not to day,” she says.

“Phoenix fight Lion, yes?”

[Asako Yuki]

"The Lion declared war on us, yes. The Phoenix do not seek conflict." Yuki explained.

[Moto Khulun]

"Your cousin say same thing," she says with a nod.

"Shinjo was deep with compassion, seems similar but Moto are born of fire and blood. Our ancestors lived hard lives."

[Asako Yuki]

"Hai, I don't expect any to feel the same as I do. It is merely nice when they do." Yuki stated. "You may find that life is different, here in Rokugan. Perhaps no easier, but the land doesn't try to kill you here, and the sun is often more pleasant than overbearing."

[Moto Khulun]

“The land does seem softer, but it seems dangerous enough,” she replies.

“So you are warrior but you do not seek war, that is not unknown within Unicorn.”

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki nodded at that. "Precisely, Moto-san." She paused. "Do any of the Unicorn here follow such a notion, do you know?"

[Moto Khulun]

“I do not know for sure, maybe some see things as thus. I do not know, is that something you prefer in husband?” she asks.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki paused at that, looking at Khulun for a moment before shrugging. "Maybe, Moto-san. It depends on a lot of things." Yuki's body posture was slightly wary.

[Moto Khulun]

She just nods feeling apt at prying and says, “We all seek different things, it is known. May you find what you seek.”

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki smiled to Khulun. "You too, Moto-san." She glanced to al-Kalb. "Err, Moto-sans." She bowed.

“The Phoenix are good clan, look forward to better friendship, much they can teach us,” she says with a nod.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki's smile grew more warm. "Arigato for your kind words, Moto-san. I too hope that our clans can become better friends, we have a lot we can teach each other."

[Moto Khulun]

“Marriage is strong start, yes,” she says.

She glances to her cousin and says, “I hope the wind favors your arrows, Sayyeda. Perhaps we shall speak again.”
