Day 6 [LM] Sweet Christmas (Suteichi's Yurt)

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I.." she started with the faintest of a blush, "truly do not know what to say Suteichi."

Collecting herself a bit, she added but did not yet take the Fan, "Other than I accept.. of course. What if we are not to be married, am I to return it?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi did not smile or frown at that but his look was serious enough.

"I would greatly hate to see you with anyone else but me. I hope that you would not want me to be with anyone else." he huffed.

"I would not want you to return this because I want you to remember me always. I thought I gave the best of me. I am now. I would not want to give this to anyone but you. If I cannot have you, then this is a way you will always have me."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei, without another word, took the fan. Holding it in her hand as she looked at it for a time. It was clear she had never used one before.

"I do not want you to be with anyone else," she admitted softly. "I have.." she stopped and moved to her knees, crawling the step forward until she was able to pull him into a kiss. One with enough intent, she hoped, to explain what she couldn't find the words for.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

She did not have to say the words, he knew and she would know that the feeling was mutual. Her kiss was returned with the same passion and vigor that was given. When they had a break, he held her face.

"You don't have to say it. I know."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei's smile was more of a smirk than not, nodding her head in his hands. It wasn't love but even now it was clear to her that it could be, some day. That didn't stop her from wanting it all the same. Somewhere in the back of her mind she was plotting ways to gain him influence enough to choose her. Meanwhile another part planned for when he could not.

As long as he held her there, she remained. Not being the one to break the contact.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"I know I am not a perfect man, or a good man. Yet I am beholding a good and perfect woman. What have I done that would make Benten bless me so?" he smiled at her and kissed her again, this time a little longer. "I choose you, no one else. I said I was loyal to you, I meant that."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei rested her hands on his thighs as he held her there, returning his kiss with the same focus he placed into it. "You speak too highly of me Suteichi, I am far from perfect and far from good... but as long as you remain mine, I will gladly be yours."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Hmmm...how long I remain with you. If the fortunes are just, until time itself denies its existence. I hope you're a patient woman, Hiomoyasu, forever is a long time. "

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I can be that patient," she said simply, smiling on a light note.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

He smiled warmly at her and again he kissed her. He stopped. A spark of passion was in his eyes as he looked at her. He huffed slightly, trying to collect himself. Her full beauty was there before him and he was wanting her, dare say, craved her. He picked up her hand and kissed it. He walked back to his side of the table and sipped his tea. He then took a few bites of bacon. Even with the distractions of breakfast, he could not keep his eyes off of her.

Seeing that spark she returned to breakfast with him, eating it and sharing the occasional glance from what she was doing. Each and every time she delighted in what she knew, what she felt in her core. The idea that all she needed to do was merely show an opening, give him a chance, or say a word and she could have him again.

Still, she had uttered the words and thus made herself and him the promise. This morning she was going to be good.

With her portion of the meal finished she sat back, holding the fan in her right hand. Deciding to watch Suteichi while he finished. Just sitting on display.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Enjoying the meal?" he asked to break the ice. "The meal is delicious, would you agree? I admit I do have a taste for something...sweeter." there was a slight wry smile at the end of that.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I enjoyed it greatly, especially the food I am not accustomed to," she said in way of reply. Saving the better part till after she could show her smirk, "Something sweeter Suteichi? Do describe it to me."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi finished the contents of his tea and calmly set his tea cup down. He leaned in closer to Liu Fei.

"Do you really want me to tell you?" a playful smile upon his face.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I do," she said, leaning ever so lightly forward. "In detail if you would," she teased in addition, with a playful smile of her own.
