[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"To Otaku Chi-Pu!" Hiroji responds to the toast before drinking.

Tomonaga drank a modest mouthful. The sake was really meant to be sipped, but rules were a little different for funerals. He is silent for a little while, reflective.

"Did you know her before the battle?" Tomonaga asked. "It sounds like she was a person to know." He glanced around, looking for other people in need of sake.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji looked down and shook his head. "No.. I had met her in passing a few times, but I did not know her well. Still, this weighs on me." He sighs before drinking his sake again.

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

Kitakuhime notices Kogo, and after a nod, she leans over Gekko to properly serve the Matsu. "It is an honor to have the Matsu as friends."

Hiroji looked down and shook his head. "No.. I had met her in passing a few times, but I did not know her well. Still, this weighs on me." He sighs before drinking his sake again.

Tomonaga made sure to keep his friend's cup well supplied with sake.

"Yeah..." He said. "I've heard that bonds forged in battle, even if the battle itself is short, can last a lifetime. Maybe even if one of them... doesn't make it." He reddened just a little. "Not that I know about that sort of thing, it's just what I've heard."

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Tomonaga made sure to keep his friend's cup well supplied with sake.

"Yeah..." He said. "I've heard that bonds forged in battle, even if the battle itself is short, can last a lifetime. Maybe even if one of them... doesn't make it." He reddened just a little. "Not that I know about that sort of thing, it's just what I've heard."

Hiroji nods sadly. "You have heard correct Tomonaga-sama. There is nothing that makes a friendship quite like battle." He sips his sake.

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

Having finished his part of the ceremony, Dong-Ha grabbed a flask of kumis and waded to the side, plopping down on a small trunk that had not been left lying on the ground. Sipping his drink, he watched the roaring inferno that the funeral pyre had become.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kitakuhime notices Kogo, and after a nod, she leans over Gekko to properly serve the Matsu. "It is an honor to have the Matsu as friends."

She bowed deeply to the Otaku, accepting the sake gratefully. "It is an honor to have the Otaku as friends. Otaku Chi-Pu was a shining example of the best of the Unicorn, as are you Otaku-sama. " She looks her in the eye and offers a toast. "To Otaku Chi-Pu. A true samurai and warrior. A battle maiden til the end." She waits for the Otaku's response.

[Matsu Yurio]

Yurio went looking for sake. At least that seemed to be a common thread in funerals.

Anyone wanna talk to Littlest Lion?

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

She bowed deeply to the Otaku, accepting the sake gratefully. "It is an honor to have the Otaku as friends. Otaku Chi-Pu was a shining example of the best of the Unicorn, as are you Otaku-sama. " She looks her in the eye and offers a toast. "To Otaku Chi-Pu. A true samurai and warrior. A battle maiden til the end." She waits for the Otaku's response.

Kitakuhime closes her eyes in thanks, but does not toasts yet, willing to serve as many as possible before that. "We are deeply honored once more."

Yurio went looking for sake. At least that seemed to be a common thread in funerals.

Another lion passes by and gets his cup filled by the Shiotome. "Thank you for your presence, Matsu-san." Ryori, also nearby, gets his cup extra filled. "The Lion do us much honor. We are grateful."

[Moto Khulun]

Offering a throaty, continuous low growl as a proper lament, including no words, he looks to the skies and rides back to Khulun's side. He has offered his farewell.

Khulun had nothing to give and that saddens her. She nods to Butaj and says, "She is blessed to have so many speak for."

[Miya Mei]

Mei noded and closed her eyes at the rites were finalized. Seeing others begin to drink, she takes out her own cup, a small white snowy background woth a horae and crane on it. She dismounts and walks to the Matsu.

"Hello, Matsu-san. "

She bows.

"Can you tell me what happened? All of our hosts seem busy."

[Otaku Kitakuhime]

She dismounts and walks to the Matsu.

Nearby the Lion pack, she also gets served by the Shiotome. Kitakuhime looks to her eyes and opens a gentle smile, that soon fades.

[Yuzuki]

Yuzuki had shown up late. Just barely in time for the final moments of the ceremony. Given the state of her injuries, one might forgive her for the fact. While most of them were covered up, it was obvious from looking at her that she had sustained very serious wounds quite recently, and probably shouldn't be walking around.

She seemed quiet. Or rather, more quiet than usual; and mostly just watched.

[Matsu Yurio]

Yurio thanked the Otaku for the sake and perhaps was about to say more when the Miya appeared.

He bows.

"Miya-sama. I am not sure I understand all of the details but one of the Otaku fell in battle against a Dragon of some sort last night. The . . . well I'm not really sure why it attacked, but the Otaku defended the camp, and now we mourn the one that fell."
