No promises, no demands. (Day 5 EM Fukawa's Yurt)

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He had been expecting a meeting with one of the Crane at some point, and honestly it was a bit of a surprise it took this long. Moving through the rain soaked paths between the Yurt's he paused once to ask directions to were the Crane were staying, specifically Doji Fukawa.

It didn't too much longer for him to arrive in front of the open door to her Yurt where he called out. "Doji-sama, it's Ichiro Daisuke, are you in?"

[Doji Fukawa]

The yurt was opened by a petite Doji dressed in a kimono of darker Crane blue with small white stars.

She offered a bow to Badger as was proper.


"It is good to meet you Ichiro-san." she said. "I am Doji Fukawa. Please come in."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He returned the bow with one slightly deeper. "A pleasure to finally make your acquaintance Doji-sama." He replied before moving to accept the invitation into her tent. "I hope my arrival at such a early hour isn't inconvenient?"

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa shakes her head.

"Not at all. I am glad I am not interrupting your own schedule in requesting a meeting at this hour." she returns in kind. "Would you care for some tea?"

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Tea would be wonderful Doji-sama." One of the things he missed about crane lands was their tea, the stuff in his home wasn't bad, but at the same time it couldn't compare to what most Crane brought with them.

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods, getting the arrangements for tea ready.

"Given the early hour, something in a black tea, perhaps with some honey?" she offers politely.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Black tea with honey sounds perfect." He replied a small smile making it's way onto his lips. "We used to have it at school, on the days after we would find a hive. Well, provided he could convince the bee's to part with some without too many stings." That had always been the tricky part.

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa brews the first tea of many today.

"It's a useful marriage I find, between the wakefulness of the black tea, and the sweetness of the honey." she offers.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"I'd have to agree." He replied as he watched her work.

"The two together are a good way to start any day."

"So, is it your usual morning drink?"

[Doji Fukawa]

Fuke nods slightly.

"Well, in these circumstances at least. Black tea and honey both travel and store very well. When at home, I have access to many more teas, alongside different seasonal fresh fruits to add for flavor." she admits.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"It's hard to transport anything delicate to this side of the empire." Daisuke replied understanding evident in hie tone.

"One could perhaps find some fresh fruit in the Western fields though."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"Assuming the Lion didn't pack them all up when they left. It looks like in this village they took everything but the center and the dojo when they left." she replies.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"It certainly seems that way." The Badger admitted after a moment.

"But you never know what someone might miss, especially if they are in a hurry."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"A possibility, certainly." she agrees. "In more ways than one. After all, the miai is only scheduled to last 10 days. It is halfway over. I'm sure some of the candidates are getting a bit anxious to prove themselves in one fashion or another."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He nodded. "I admit I could do a bit of that myself." He was at the moment in a position to be married, but nothing more.

"Rushing around doesn't seem like it will help matters though."
