[Bayushi Suteichi]

As the service for Chi-Pu ended, to lift up the spirits of everyone there, a little music and song was needed. Suteichi began to play a song to get everyone's attention. As the song came to an end he looked to those there and lifted up his voice to them.

"REMEMBER OTAKU-SAMA! UTZ!"

The music celebration of life had begun.

[Shiba Kaizen]

Shiba Kaizen did not know the song, but followed Suteichi's lead. Trailing the Scorpion added some interesting resonance to the tune. Kaizen's playing wasn't quite as flashy as the Scorpion's, but for the part he played subdued would have been preferred.

[Moto Khulun]

The Unicorn life was a hard one especially before returning to the Green, death had come for many on the Dark Ride so Khulun should have been used to this but still she lingered in darkness. The music was pissing her off, the Scorpion were pissing her off, and everyone acting like this is what Chi-Pu would have wanted was pissing her off.

The dead don’t speak, well usually don’t when she considered the Herald and the Onyx Champion.

She was still astride Oguro when the music started and she lingered, the steed matching her mood with stony silence and a glare for any and all. None of this seemed to matter as she had more important things to prepare for.

[Shinjo Akil]

Akil listened first, taking in the melody the Scorpion was staring with and adding his own part to the proceedings.

He might have stolen the show.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

Kemuri listened to the music, impressed by the talent. He wasn't sure yet how well the music fit the occassion, but the intent was appreciated. Regardless, he needed a drink.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

The music soothed him somewhat. But Hiroji's expression was still grim as he stood among the other participants.

[Matsu Yurio]

Yurio had arrived expecting there to be more dancing to go with the music and . . . . whatever it was the Moto was doing. Still there was one dancer here now, and he totally was not going to miss his chance to be the only attraction. Now . . . how to match a Rokugani dance to Unicorn music . . . the fusion was far from complete, but overconfident Kitteh did not care.

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun drinks down some kumis as she brooded.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo arrived, hoping the music would soothe some of what she was feeling today. Kogo listened intently as Shinjo-san's flute rang out in beautiful melody with all the other instruments. I guess he must be feeling much better today.

She searches around for a place to sit down and hopefully a small cup of sake. A large one would likely be a mistake.

Butaj finishes for now, seeing Akil doing the honors, and joins Khulun's side. "Don't brood too much, Sayyeda."

Butaj tilts his head. "And what would she say to you if she were here seeing Sayyeda like this?"

She glanced at him and said, “You can be a righteous ass… what is wrong with your face… it’s… not so beardy? YOUR face is naked!”

Kogo sees Moto Khulun atop her horse, looking as stony as she feels in this moment. She recalls the first night she met the Moto as the first night she met Otaku Chi-Pu. Who could have known it would end so fast? I had never felt so comfortable with another female samurai-ko. She made me feel proud of myself. And now she is gone.

Kogo takes down her sake and pours herself another glass.
