Tea Day with two Ide Today (D5, LM, Fukawa's Hut)

[Doji Fukawa]

It was shaping up to be a busy day for Fukawa. Her previous guest having already left, she reset the yurt for the two new expected guests, and got more tea prepared. This blend had a delicate mint flavor that Fukawa particularly enjoyed. It was interesting how busy Amaya's schedule had proven. Apparently the Ide really were a courtier family. But while she was busy working for the Unicorn, Fukawa had her own plans.

The tea ready, there was nothing left to do but wait in her 5th new kimono for the miai. This one was a darker Crane blue, with small white stars that one could almost make a pattern out of.

[Ide Amaya]

Today, Amaya is wearing a black kimono with elegant painted horses on the sleeves and bottom hem. She scratches at the yurt of the Crane, feeling tired.

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa opens the door of the yurt, and bows to her guest.

"Ide-san, good morning, have you had rice today?" she asks.

[Ide Amaya]

Bowing, "I have, thank you," she gives by reply, though she still isn't confident of the custom. "And yourself, Doji-Sama?"

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"I have, thank you for asking." she replied. "Please, be welcome and have a seat."

[Ide Samai]

Samai was arriving just on the heel of Amaya. She also scratched at the door, enthusiastic for the upcoming meeting.

[Ide Amaya]

She enters, "thank you, Doji-Sama," and takes a seat. As she does so, she takes care to arrange her right sleeve in her lap. It seems that she's carrying something in the pocket there.

[Doji Fukawa]

"Ah, and that must be your friend, Ide-san." Fukawa replied, swiftly moving to the door (well as swift as a small water 2 character got), and opened it.

She offered the woman in purple a bow.

"You must be Ide Samai. I am Doji Fukawa." she offered cordially. "Please, come in and make yourself comfortable."

[Ide Samai]

"Well met Doji-san, thank you for the invitation." Seeing Amaya, she smiled at her and waved. "Ide-san, greetings." She followed Fukawa as best as she can in the yurt, and took a seat where she could, delicately sitting down. "Have minnasan had rice today?"

[Ide Amaya]

She smiled and nodded, "good morning to you, cousin."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa closed the yurt after the second guest. After all, it's not like the three of them could do anything scandalous. So she takes her space on the floor of the yurt between the other two.

"I have, Ide-san, thank you for asking." she offered. 'I have chosen a black tea with a hint of mint I think you'll enjoy. There are also some small snacks of dried fruit and nuts if you like."

[Ide Samai]

"That sounds wonderful Doji-san." Samai smiled as she sit down, gentle smell of roses wafting from her.

"I hope you have found your stay pleasant so far Doji-san?"

[Ide Amaya]

"I must concur with my cousin," mint might help me feel a little more awake, she silently adds, grateful of the Crane's hospitality.

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods as she fills her guests cups wit hot tea.

"Oh, most certainly." she says. "The Unicorn have been excellent hosts. Some of the customs are strange, but your honor shines through any possible doubts."

[Ide Samai]

"Your kind words mean a lot to us Doji-san. The patience of our brethren has been greatly appreciated." Samai accepted the tea with grace and a smile.

"It has been a great meeting of traditions I have found so far."
