Struck in The Middle? (Day 1 Late Morning)

"I am not certain of who is here, but I doubt you would be disappointed with any of them." he answered. "Do you have any particular preferrences?"

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Not many honestly." He admitted after a moment. "I'd prefer someone not too tall, as I'm not the tallest man myself." And standing on his tip-toes to kiss a woman didn't sound terribly appealing. "Other then that, someone interested in a big family would be a plus."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"There's an Otaku who is fairly short." He thought about it. "Imane, I believe. Pretty. Athletic. A bit exotic, I guess."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He nodded. "I'll keep an eye open for her then."

"Is there anything particular you are looking for? There are no other Badger here, but I think we of the minor clans are meeting soon. Perhaps there is something I can keep a eye out for?"

"I have no idea." he admitted with a chuckle. "I'm not even sure of what my options are. I have much to still learn about the other clans, and their women."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He smirked "I suppose I'm at a bit of a advantage there then, I only need to learn about the women of one clan."

"I could tell you a bit about women of the crane, and the woman of my clan, but that's about all, and I'd have to admit I'm no expert."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Well, there are no other Badger here. So, what do you know about the Crane?" he asked with a smirk.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Well." He paused thoughtfully for a moment. "Their women are for the most part beautiful and refined, many with white hair and blue eyes, though some because they dye their hair. They tend to pursue the arts as well, even in my School for scouts, most of the women were skilled in one or more forms of art or music."

"The Crane are also a center of culture, so the women often know about the current fashions and fad's in the empire, though in some of the more martial families this isn't always the case. The Daidoji are generally the most martial of their families, followed by the Kakita who are often duelists and artisans. The Doji are by and large their courtiers and finally the Asahina are their priests. Though of course this varies to some degree."

He paused there was more he could say though he wanted to be as concise as he could. "There is of course more, but I think that hits the major points"

"Hmm..." he considered the information. "They sound very... social. You mentioned scouts?"

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"They are, for the most part very social." He agreed with a nod. "But yes scouts, I trained with the Daidoji scout school. It's where you find the less social of their clan, or so I'd say. Scouts not being nearly as likely to find themselves in courts as duelists and yojimbo."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"They would likely be more my type." he shrugged. "Though storytellers and historians would be good, too."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

He nodded. "Well, I'll keep an eye open."

"In the mean time though, I wish you luck in meeting one of those you might be interested in."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"And, I hope you find one of my cousins to your liking." he smiled. "I wish you well, Ichiro-sama."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

A bow was offered to the other man. "It was pleasant speaking with you, and may the fortunes guide you SHinjo-sama."

He bowed as well. "May you find what you are seeking."

He was soon on Sarangerel, giving a parting wave as he rode off.
